Been poking around on Craigslist and such, with only marginal luck. There are enough flippers and scammers to go around.
I like 2000-2002 because they have ATRAC, but still have the glass headlights. Would consider 1999 if it has the OEM locking rear diff (which is pretty rare).
Looking for low mileage (150K and lower), no rust, hopefully something that spent its life in the Southwest. Hoping for stock equipment, but would consider something modded.
250k miles. Runs rides drives as it should. Rear blower does not work. Driver seat shows wear (seat covers would fix that) recent timing belt and water pump new at toyota of cape girardeau. This is only year for factory locking diff. I have removed rear jump seats. Running boards. I still have them just not on vehicle. My daughter backed into lc in the driveway and bent the hood slightly. Clear coat is getting some bubbles. 2010 tundra 18 inch wheels with billet spacers on 285/75 tires. After a huge amount of deliberation I've decided to offer up my LX so I can concentrate on my 200 build.
I purchased this LX in 2016 with 130k miles from a BMW dealership in Columbus Ga. It was traded in by a dentist and had impeccable service records.
Since 2016 I have done a huge amount of baseline and preventive maintenance while also building the vehicle to perform to the highest level offroad. It has been a slow build with a ton of research and also a few different suspension and tire/wheel setups to get it where it is today.
I have driven this vehicle across the country several times. It has attended 100s in the Hills twice. This is the ultimate touring and offroad rig.

I bought this car 5-6 years ago in Raleigh, NC. It was originally from South Carolina. It has been used as a weekend camper, family trip vehicle over the time of my ownership. Everything works as it should. It drives better down the highway than most would expect with mud tires. I have driven it from NC to PA several times, and from NC to central VA often.

Entire front end bushing and bearings have been replaced at the dealership, it had an oil leak (Valve Covers) it was repaired at dealership. No leaks.
