I've been looking recently, and these scams are consistently in San Diego. The pictures, the tone of the writing and the same white rectangle over the license plate without a VIN in the description is telling for me.

FYI, I have seen this scam run on 3rd generation 4Runners. Probably the same people. Same tone in the writing as has been described.

Just ask for VIN for carfax and tell them you’ll want to pay for a PPI at an Indy shop and they disappear
