1998 LX470 for sale. Was going to part it out but people have been trying to buy whole so here it is-
Pros- Runs and drives great, sounds like a sewing machine. Exterior looks ok.
Cons- No title
Rad, valve cover, steering rack leak.
No power steering (assuming rack is bad).
Been at least a decade since timing belt water pump were done
AHC suspension is gone so it’s on the bump stops. (I have 100 series cruiser T bars and coils for it, would still need shocks.)

For sale is a 2002 Lexus LX470. It's mechanically in good shape. The engine and transmission function perfectly, as does the whole driveline and AHC suspension. Heated seats work, six-disc CD player works four-wheel drive kicks butt. Mechanically, it's good, and the vehicle comes with full service records. (Timing belt/water pump job done in the last 40k miles!)
I think new pads/rotors are in order at some point, the tilt/telescoping steering function is on the fritz, the sunroof doesn't open, and there are some scuffs on the bumpers and minor dings. The seats are a bit worn.

I never thought this day would ever come, I've decided to put the LX, Cygnus, up for sale. I named it Cygnus after the title character in a Rush song, Cygnus X-1, the god of balance. It's been the most capably balanced truck I've owned, equally comfortable both on and off road. It's been the perfect truck for out family the past 7-8 years and as we've become empty nesters we planned to finish the build into an overlanding rig, but due to my wife's health struggles, it doesn't look we'll get to use it as much as or the way we'd hoped. Vehicle has been maintained at State Automotive, an amazing Land Cruiser repair shop here in Salt Lake. I have a stack of receipts over an inch tall from myself and the previous owner. The truck has some small quirks but I’d have no concerns driving this to Mexico or further tomorrow. It just recently got back from a trip to Canada. It’s been a very enjoyable vehicle to own and travel in and I’ll be sad to see it go.

Unfortunately having to sell my 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser with 242k miles, will go up slightly as I drive it daily. I am traveling around the US to a new location every three months and needing something a little newer with better gas mileage.
