Selling my recently acquired 02 LX 470. As other have mentioned on MUD, buying a vehicle of this vintage is best suited for a person that is interested and comfortable working on their vehicles. I don't have the skills, tools, garage or time so I'm hoping to pass this on to a buyer with those. This is an LA area vehicle so no issues with rust, original owner was a city driver(street tires) so I doubt if used off road. Since my ownership I have attempted to baseline the vehicle as many have suggested. The work was performed by either RPM Garage in Monrovia or my professional mechanic specializing in Japanese cars. Bought in December 2018, with 215,000 miles. Truck spent its life prior to me in Arkansas, so not a "rusty Missouri cruiser". Bought it with the intention of it being my "adventure" and mountain bike vehicle. After putting 10k miles on it in 5 years, I'm coming to the realization that I have about 5 more years of active sports travel with the kids before I'll truly be ready for a vehicle like this again. It doesn't need to sit in my driveway all week to be driven to the trailhead 5 miles away on weekends.

Selling my 98 LX, I’m the second owner, took it over at approx. 257k, has around 283k on it now. Overall solid condition, took care of many of the major issues (AHC) has a lot of new parts, but has some minor to moderate issues to address. First owner did almost all maintenance 100% at Lexus dealership. I have a stack of maintenance records to go with the truck. Maintenance and repairs I had done were a mix of Lexus dealership, and a Japanese auto repair shop. The AHC was fully replaced with LC suspension, I poached a Toyota dealer mechanic that used to work for Lexus to do the work on the side.

I am offering my 2002 LX470 for sale. This car has been a daily driver for my wife the last 4 years and has been super reliable. We have too many cars now and need room in the driveway. In the last year I have replaced the timing belt, water pump, both cv axles, power steering rack, heater tees, 3 ignition coils, and 4 BF Goodrich KO2. The truck has minimal rust, including a small spot on the rear passengers door as shown in pictures. Mileage is almost 300,000, but is changing as this truck is still driven to work and around town. Whelp, the time has come to say good bye to the family truckster. This rig has served us extremely well and has taken our family everywhere. She has AWD, the tried and true 4.7l V8, cold air intake, 5 speed auto and 2.5 inch OME full suspension upgrade. She has 260,000 miles but still runs like a champ. The front leather seats are showing their age with some rips. The catalytic converters were recently removed, so she’s grumbly and throws o2 sensor codes. power steering pulley is a bit squeaky. The multi disc player doesn't work but the tape player does. She’s been lovingly maintained with regular oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and new brakes about 10K miles ago. Imported from Europe in January 2023, all fluids changed, timing belt changed at 285K kilometers, rig now has 293K KM or about 180K miles. Runs and drives well, A/C and heat work properly. Has the legendary 1HD-FTE engine, Most of its life was spent in Spain. Has some spots of rust, but overall very solid. Asking $27,000

I was relocated to Alberta for work in 2020 from Texas. First order of business when i got here was to purchase a LC 100 because i needed a snow beast. LCs are very hard to find in Canada. I bought one for $26k Canadian (roughly 165,000 miles). At the time, i knew it was a little expensive, but i really wanted one.
Fast forward to today, we are being relocated back to Texas, and I'd like to sell the car. I cannot find anyone to pay me more than $16k CAD (has 170k miles now). It is in great condition. Mild surface rust on the undercarriage. Cab is excellent condition. Still needs the timing belt and water pump to be repaired, but otherwise solid maintenence records. Do i

I am selling my 1998 Lexus LX470.
I already have another car and I just don’t drive this vehicle enough to justify keeping it. I would love to sell it to someone who will actually enjoy the vehicle more than I can.
This vehicle drives very well and is extremely smooth on the road. Everything electronic works on the vehicle. The driver's side automatic window is quite slow, and will likely need to be replaced sometime in the future.

Smogged and renewed registration back in February with a clean title.
The condition of the leather is 7/10. A rip started on the driver’s side last year, but overall good condition for its age. The clear coat on the paint was coming off so I painted over the hood and roof with bedliner, and it looks good! I drove all the way down to Zion, Yosemite, San Francisco, etc. with no issues. This rig is more a mall crawler and has never seen much off-roading.
The exterior color is River Rock Green Micah. No rust in the undercarriage.

It kills me to be doing this, but I'm looking at a 200 series and I will in all likelihood be picking that up end of this week. When that happens, the '06 will go to a new home, ideally around the beginning of May after I get the new truck registered. Nothing is signed yet, but in the interest of getting all ducks in a row, I wanted to put this out there. If you’re at all interested, please read thoroughly as I’ll try to include all the nitty-gritty. Hey guys, new to 100 series, had a 5th gen 4R before. I am looking at a 99 LC100, car has been Colorado for a long time. I took some pictures of undercarriage, there are some salt, rust, it is priced slightly below average from what I have seen. There are some minor leak from the CV boot on passenger side. Is this a big concern? The rust a concern here? Any feedback are welcome. Thank you!
