-315,XXX miles but sounds and pulls like a brand new engine. This is the legendary 4.7 V8 that has been taken care of and maintained. Recent work done @305k include- New radiator, timing belt, water pump, fan clutch, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel pump, complete fluid flush (oil, transmission, differential, coolant), alternator, all cooling hoses, shocks, air filter, brake pads and rotors.

Hello, I’ve looked through several threads with similar rust questions but I feel like I’m too emotionally invested in the vehicle to make an unbiased decision. Vehicle is a 2006 Lx470 which has spent most of its life in Delaware and is at 180k miles. Buyer is asking $18k. CARFAX shows a good service history but looks like it’s due for its second timing belt change. Could I get some opinions on the rust on this vehicle? Would you buy it at this price? Thanks

Considering selling my ‘99 Land Cruiser. Imperial Jade Mica with beige interior. This is an “uncommon” version (dare I say rare these days) of the well known 100 series. This model does NOT have a sunroof, the rear windows do not pop out and the seats are cloth from the factory, but still electric. Instead of the sunroof, you get a bunch of sunglass holders. Like, too many. IMO this means less leaking points. Only a few thousand of these were ever imported.

I’m an airline pilot and used this as my airport vehicle for the last year, however I’m moving to my domicile and no longer need it. Trollhole cruisers replaced the brake booster
-replaced outer clamps on the CV boots. No tears in the boots
-inspection prior to cross country road trip. No issues noted and no CEL 5/18/23
-Also, they replaced the O2 sensors, exchanged the brake fluid, replaced the battery, and a few other ancillary items. It no longer has a check engine light on. All work was completed at a Toyota Dealer Service Center.

Selling this to fund a LC100 I just picked up.
The undercarriage has some surface rust, but is better than most in the Midwest. This spent the first few years of its life in California. Runs great. Timing belt and water pump changed at 156,760 at Lexus dealer. Will need tires before long and the AC serviced - not blowing terribly cold.
Interior in good overall shape other than the drivers seat. A few small dings but overall in great shape in a hard to find color combination.
No crashes and I am the third owner (pretty sure carfax shows 4 but the first owner leased it before buying it, and it appears to show that as two owners. Lots of service records.
