I am trying to decide which 2004 Land Cruiser to purchase. One has 270000 miles and has a nice suspension and a pretty clean interior and undercarriage. The other one has 170000 miles and more rust underneath and needs a new muffler. They are both the same price and the maintenance is up to date on both . I like the one with more mileage, but am not sure if I should go with the lower mileage one. I am new to Land Cruisers and just want to make a good decision. I want to keep this vehicle for a while. Just wanted to start off by saying I’m just testing waters on this and I absolutely love this 100. I’ll most likely keep this for years to come, but just figured I’d see what’s out there.
I bought this last year with around 282k on it and have done a good bit of preventative maintenance and a few nice upgrades along the way. It runs and drives excellent, has 289k on it now. It’s my daily so the miles will go up.
Maintenance includes;
-All diff fluids changed with 80w90 synthetic
-Oil just changed with royal purple high mileage 5w30 and oem filter
-did a PS flush (but it could use another soon, it was fairly dark when I flushed it the first time)
-new oem air filter 4k miles ago
-greased the driveshaft

Putting out a potential feeler for a 2006-2007 Land Cruiser with under 175k miles. Would be looking to pay between 25-28k so I would expect the mileage to be higher which is fine. Prefer the following:
- Black Garnet, Galactic Grey, Pacific Blue, Thunder Cloud. Not interested in White or Gold
- Would prefer light mods (lift and tires, maybe front bumper). Don't really need a fully built out rig for my lifestyle.
- No rust (prefer southern owned) with a solid maintenance record
- Would prefer no accident but not scared of a past fender bender or something along those lines

Up for sale. 2002 Land Cruiser 100, I have been the owner since 2013. Purchased and owned in Georgia until moving up to NJ in 2016. The vehicle has been cared for and maintained with no issues under my watch. I have had the timing belt and all accompanying parts replaced a few years ago. Transmission, engine and diff have all been serviced with OEM fluids. I can find most of my records and receipts. But due to military moves I can't find them all.
Let's start with the things that the potential buyer should know:
1. Sunroof doesn't work- motor tries to open but it doesn't. Never fixed because I never use sunroofs.
2. Drivers seat leather was replaced but needs to be redone again.
3. No AM/FM antenna.. I use Bluetooth so never replaced...

I have seen the truck in person and referred him to the Toyota Master Tech I use to get the truck baselined, it is near perfect!
I can connect you with the owner, it is the nicest 100 series I have seen in a very long time and with all of the recent maintenance is ready to use and enjoy for quite some time. It is currently listed on PCA market at a very reasonable reserve, he is very active in that community and just doesn’t find the time to really enjoy the 100 series.
Someone is going to get a good deal on a very nice turnkey truck, would be great to see someone in the Mud community end up with this one!

It's not in concours condition but given its age it's doing great. It's been my daily driver for six years now. There are a few scratches, swirls, and assorted nicks in the paint but the pictures are proof that overall it's still beautiful. Interior and leather is in decent shape. Runs and drives great and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. Went on a trip from Utah down through Death Valley with it a few months ago and had no issues.
I'm selling simply because I have 4 kids and 2 dogs and while the Cruiser fits six people fine, it doesn't also fit camping gear and the dogs. I'll have to live with the mild off-roading I do in my Suburban until I have kids...

1998 Toyota Land Cruiser in Black WITH third-row seats, aftermarket Apple carplay stereo, rear view camera, factory rear differential lock, new ABS actuator, new tires, brand new hand-sewn steering wheel.
