What's the resistances of the three resistors, most importantly the biggest one?

The above values are from a brand new, never used Denso unit. I just measured a 35 year old used unit, and get:

Large 0.8 ohm
Medium 1.0 ohm
Small 1.5 ohm.

Just for reference.

Power dissipation is an aspect for consideration too.
A few years back, I attempted to repair my blower motor unit by wiring in resistors of the appropriate ohm values to the burned out unit. It worked fine for a few months but the resistors burned out in time.
Why? The factory resistors are in the air stream of the blower motor so they dissipate heat accordingly. I used resistors with finned metal housing to dissipate heat. These would not fit in the duct housing, so they had be mounted externally. I riveted them to a small piece of metal to function as a heat sink. Either, the piece of metal was not large enough to adequately serve as a heat sink and/or more cooling air flow was needed around the outside of the blower motor.

I hope you are more successful with your approach than I was. Good luck
