- Truck has very faded paint on hood and roof not evident in pics
- Underbody rust is really not bad considering it's a half east coast vehicle, rust in the engine bay was a little more concerning but not a deal breaker
- Dealer only has the Valet Key and didn't realize it
- Does not have the original service book that came with the truck, it looks new like it was just replaced
- Plastic trim around windshield and roof is peeling up (may be cause for leaking concerns later on? but probably easily fixed)
- I got it inspected, needs a timing belt/water pump but is in good mechanical...

Wife and í are in search of a '00 - '01 LC. If í can replace the head unit on a same year LX then it would be an option also.
I would prefer a grey interior. Not sure why its been so tough finding one.

Hey Guys, this is only my second post but a long time lurker. I have a classic and high line dealership in St. Augustine Florida. My Daily is a 03 LC and Surf Truck is a 87 FJ60. Despite selling mostly Porsche's, Mercedes, BMW, etc My favorite trucks on the road are cruisers, defenders, and G-Wagons. I never post stuff for sale but this LX is just so incredibly clean I figured I had to post it because it would be appreciated.

2004 LC thunder cloud metallic with grey int. Have owned for about a yr and a half. Only reason for selling is I purchased a 2008 for the wife. This was her DD. Nothing at all wrong with the truck. No leaks of any kind. 275/65/18 Cooper's 2 months ago with warranty from discount tire. TB was done by PO. 145500 miles, leather is still soft and pliable. NO AHC Mobil 1 5w-30 oil done by me. I have decided to upgrade to a 200 series and am placing my 99 expedition built 100 series up for sale. It has been built for expedition use, of which I am not doing any at the time, funny how it works. If I get a few items wrong, be kind. I will answer any questions you may have. I was in one accident with the 100, rear ended a corolla at about 15 mph. All repaired, but it was the front passenger quarter panel and bumper. There are a the expected chips in paint for a 16 year old vehicle, touched up of course, but not an expert job of blending. I have been looking for a 100/120/200 for my wife, and I came across this 06 on Saturday. It has 151k miles on it, but it's extremely clean and has all the service done - timing belt, water pump, etc. The second/current owner has owned it for 8 years locally, and I was impressed with how nice it drove. We are probably going to pass on it, but I thought this might be a great buy for someone in the club since it's an 06 with the higher horsepower rating for a good price. The only potential "downside" is that it does have ACH, however it works well and drives so nice with it I'd be tempted to just leave it alone. If you reach out to the guy, tell him Matt sent you. I wish we could pull the trigger on it, but the timing is not quite right...

I would prefer a low mileage 2006 - 2007 but will pretty much consider any year for the right deal.
Exterior color is not as important as Interior color. I would prefer a gray interior.
Would like a vehicle with a good maintenance history.
I am located just north of Charlotte NC but I am willing to travel for the right vehicle.
I have been watching a bunch of websites but have not found the right deal.
Stock or mildly built is ok. I do need the rear seats as I have 3 little girls.

LTB 100 series Cruiser or LX; closer to stock than not, mildly built ok; color irrelevant; 3d row seats unnecessary, mileage up to 160k; timing belt and water pump recently done preferred; 2004-2006 preferred but will consider nice lower mileage earlier trucks. Truck must be immediately drive-able and able to pass state inspection. Truck will replace DD pickup (already sold) and 80 series camping rig.

Beware of the listing shown below near Auburn, AL. After repeated assurances from the seller about the truck being in good condition, I drove 1,300 miles round-trip to pick it up. Twenty hours of driving. This LC has MANY blemishes that were undisclosed, including extensive cigarette burns in the leather, headliner, and (believe it or not) the dash; hail damage on the hood and roof; a significant dent on the right rear fender; a likely roof leak; a broken headrest; tears in the seats; stained carpeting; and more. Mechanically it seems fine, though no maintenance records whatsoever can be produced. Carfax and the owner indicate that it's a one-owner that's always been in Alabama or close by.
