:) I really want a FJ40, any year is fine with me. I am looking for one that is mostly original. It definitely must have the original drivetrain. I am looking in the East Texas, wset Louisiana area. It does not have to run as long as I can tow it home with my Tacoma.
For trade, I have a 1971 Chevy C/10 Pickup. It has 97K original miles and is 95% original. However, it does not have many options. It is 2 wheel drive and looks good. It drives great.

2002 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab SR5 with TRD package and 29,000 miles.
This Toyota is equipped with a towing package along with an automatic transmission. It has power window, locks and mirrors.
Aftermarket accessories:
It has a 2.5” suspension lift with 285 75R 16 BFG’s AT’s. It has a TRD supercharger under the hood with TRD headers and TRD exhaust. It has a transmission cooler and a push bar with fog lamps. It has a security system on it also. It has a rhino lined bed and 3M masking to protect the rocker panels from scratches. It has tinted windows and vent shades and plastic liner floor mats.

I'm in search of a pre 74 (preferred, but not important) FJ40. I'd like to see something in decent mechanical condition, but enough rust/metal damage that I'll be forced to buy a welder :D . Interior condition isn't a big problem, either. I like the idea of restoring the inside, as well. I'm located in the Pittsburgh, PA area right now, and will soon be relocating to the Bridgeport, WV area. I'm willing to travel to pick up the right truck, though. I'm also hoping to pay somewhere under $2500 for this one. Feel free to email me.

I really don't want to let my Tacoma go but I need a tow rig and I can't afford to have both, so the Taco has to go. I'm selling my 2001 Tacoma Xtra cab 4x4, SR5, 3.4L V6, 5-speed manual, TRD package (that includes the locking differential and the Bilstein shock absorbers), with only 38k/mi. This truck is in great shape inside and out and has been meticulously maintained. Well I got this PU to do a SBC swap into my LC but changed my mind. It runs and drives just fine. It is an old farm truck that an old guy owned. When he died his son sold it. The old guy took the front drive line out to get better milage so it hasn't seen much use. I have a drive line to go back in it but haven't messed with putting it back in but would if a buyer wanted.
What I know about it:
I has a 350 with a quadrajet
It is an automatic
It has the fulltime four wheel drive with the high low shifter in it
gauges, lights, and wippers all work
hood is straight and flat but I think the rest of the body panels all have dents
Has a new fuel filter, points, cap, rotor
Starts and runs
It has some quirks like with the wireing the PO had...

I went and checked out this truck for a forum member. it wasn't what he was looking for, but it might be for someone looking for a trail truck or a reliable DD with some rust issues. It's honestly not bad for a MI/IL truck that's 21 years old. A bunch of goodies have been done already and done right. Feel free to shoot me a PM for an honest evaluation. I am going to be driving thru the Sahara desert with my wife this winter and am looking to buy a diesel HJ60 to outfit for the trip. Vehicle should be in very good condition mechanically - body does not need to be perfect but suspension should be very solid.
