saw earlier today an ad in (I think) autotrader.com for a '97 with relatively low mileage, something like 59K or so IIRC (got to it while doing a search on 97 in edmunds.com if that helps). Seemed like a well-kept mall cruiser-type.
Asking was pretty high, 20K IIRC, but who knows, they may go down a lot or it may be worth it to somebody.
Not too far, so could possibly have a look for somebody who is *seriously* interested, preferably a cute blonde or redhead or somebody who may have bought an extra recovery strap in the recent frenzy, or is otherwise in need to rid their garage of wheelin' accessories... (capisce?) :D

Body is in good shape, no visible rust. Paint job isnt the best, could use to be repainted. It did not have front seatbelts when we got it, so it needs seatbelts. We put in a bench seat( easier with a car seat) but we will include the original jump seats( no tears or cracks, great condition). All gauges work, heater works. Inside of tub had been Hurculined, no rust holes in floor.

If anyone is interested in a low mileage '96... I noticed the guy has a for sale sign in it now. $12,600 - Black w/o lockers, 76,000 miles... looks to be in as good of shape as the miles suggest. Wheels and caps look great, paint is awesome. Just noticed one small ding on the door. Seems like a decent price for that low of miles.
