Wife just wrote off our people hauler... Honda Odyssey... I think I might be able to convince her to drive a JDM.... She loves diesels and my 60 and 42... however she doesn't want anything lifted or crazy trail ready rig... Just a nice stock truck... That way I can convince her to drive it daily...
then I can do what I really want with it.... ;)
Anybody have one out there... We are looking at the lower end of the price spectrum realistically....I don't mind a few extra miles as long as its been properly maintained...
Be nice if it was in Ontario too....

This cruiser has to go. I am a full time college student and do not have time to work, so my mom pays all my bills for me. She says that if I don't have a new car by Thanksgiving she's going to cut off my gas money.
This is a 1989 FJ-62 Toyota Landcruiser. It runs great. It doesn't like cold mornings, but neither do I, so it worked out fine. It will run fine after it warms up for a minute or two. There are 202,000 miles on this vehicle. The engine was rebuilt around 35,000-40,000 miles ago by the previous owner. It's blue and badass.

Selling my Willy's. I have had this Jeep since 99 or so, bought it when i worked in the Mil Vehicle field. Came from an elderly gents personal collection.
It is in need of restoration, and is currently torn down to major components and in my garage. Engine, trans, transfer, axles all removed but intact.
I have alot of new NOS parts for this vehicle including NOS fenders. These cost me close to a grand alone. NOS tailgate etc.
Tub is in good condition needing a rear 1/4 repair on one side, floors have some surface rust but are solid as is the rest of this.

'99 Crusier $15k
Well bought myself an '89 Cruiser over the summer and am working on restoring it so I'm going to buy a cheap car to run around in and put My '99 up for sale.
I bought the Cruiser in March of 2003 from Toyota dealer with 51,705 miles on it, now it has 111,125miles and I had nothing but luck with it. I always run synthetic motor oil and is changed ever 5k miles.
The Good:
The timing belt was replaced by Toyota in Aug of '06 with a 100,098 miles on the truck.
Tires were replaced in March of '06, they now have around 15k on them.
New Toyota shocks were put on in May '07.
Third row seat package

I am selling my 95 SHO with the 5sp and 3.0 Yamaha engine. It has 145k and has been an awesome car for my family. We have owned it since about 97 and my mechanic uncle (who just gave it a clean bill of health) owned it for several years before me. I was planning to use it as a second car and really hop it up, but I have come to realize that I can not own a fast car. It has never been abused and the original clutch is in great shape as are the tires. It has a new radiator and battery. It needs a timing belt sometime pretty soon and the valves could probably be adjusted as well within the next 15k. Interior and exterior are pretty good, it does have some tree sap type stuff on the paint, but a lazy afternoon would take care of that.

The truck is in good shape except for some rust in two spots (rear bumper, high side of the right wheel well)the truck has been maintained very well.
-rebuilt transmission and transfer case 13 months ago at TSI Transmission shop in St. Paul (As of Dec 12 i brought the truck into TSI as well are parents friends, they checked the tranny and all other components and gave it a clean bill of health!!!)
-when i bought the vechile i found out that it had two bad cylinders and the compression valve was shot not to mention there were a couple severe problems with the engine so i had it all fixed at Willmar Toyota (2005) so
-new radiator put in with all new belts in Aug...

going from Yota's to Yoga ... 87 is salvage from a rollover and has 22RE engine with 250000K (157000 miles) with custom 3 core rad. Took the rebuilt transmission out and dropped into the 88 4Runner that has 339200K (212000 miles). Both engines in excellent shape, no oil burning, but hey, how the heck could it with those miles.
The 88 would be a good project as it does have some rust ... if not, then a bunch of good parts.
I'm into another phase of life and want the trucks to go to good homes not the s**** yards.
