1989 4 runner about 160,000. the engine is apart from a blown head gasket. real straight and a couple of dime sized spots of rust on the removable top (surface rust only, no holes) faded gray paint. auto with 3.0 engine. clean florida title. Located in Englewood FL. 1.5 hrs south of Tampa. It's worth about $450 at the recyclers so I want more than that or it will get crushed. this is a real nice truck it just needs a motor. cory[at]ewol[dot]com for pics.
I have 2 pigs; '72 that is fairly rust free and a '73 (6 months older than the 72) that is a donor.

There are a lot of other parts that will come with them but need to dig out. Fourwheel discs & cherry front fenders. It just needs some time and think that most of the parts would be there to make it a great rig.
Would like to get $2750 for both (package deal and not planning on parting out) - so long as you get them gone quickly. If you can move real quick then make a fair offer.

My super clean FJ-43 is up for grabs. To my knowledge the FJ-43 was never imported to the US. It is basically a FJ-40 chassis with a longer bodypan. So for those of you that want more space for gear but don't want the longer wheel-base of the 45 this truck is for you. I bought it in 2003 while stationed in Bogota Colombia and had a frame up restoration done on it. The nice thing about Bogota is that, at almost 9000 feet of altitude, there is little humidity so these trucks don't rust. It was in excellent condition to begin with but I fixed all the little things and drove it for a year. I had a roll bar installed and had the seats reupholstered in 1000d Codura nylon so they will last longer than the truck. It also has an aftermarket...

It's powered by a brand new Tecumseh 9HP engine that has both pull start and electric start as well as a charging stator circuit...
It has a custom automatic 2-speed transmission that I designed and built myself...
With the exception of the engine and Harley Sportster tank, everything was completely handbuilt...
A custom Carlisle rear brake caliper and combination sprocket/rotor ("sprotor") brings it to a halt with either a Ninja star foot pedal or a chain driven jockey shift/brake with a knife handle for a handgrip...
There's also a hidden slide-out kickstand that's built into the foot rest for a functional, yet...
