I am looking for a 96 and up fj80 with minimal rust, decent interior (leather) with something around 200k. I am looking to upgrade from my 3rd gen 4 runner as our second kid is on it's way and we need a little more space on our road trips.
I am located in northern NJ but am willing to travel a bit to find the right car. I would love towork out some sort of trade with my third gen if anyone is interested or purchase outright.

1997 Limited Edition Land Cruiser. 181k miles. Took a good hit. This was going to be my donor rig for a chassis swap on our FJ60…. However, I live in an apartment complex that would not be very impressed with my shade tree body swap/parts yard sale out in the street.
So if you have a more accommodating pocket book and work space….I have a clean title on hand and this Cruiser runs and drives. It can easily be loaded on a trailer or hauler.

But I do not want leather interior, only that great toyota tweed cloth interior, please!!!!!

1992 Toyota Land cruiser turbo diesel 80 series with about 167,xxxk/104,xxx miles it has a 1HDT engine and automatic transmission A440F 4 speed auto with factory electric winch, electric lockers. No rust on chassis, the frame has been coated sometime in the past.

I have decided to move on from my 1991 FJ80 with the hopes of selling it to a fellow enthusiast. It has 145k Original Miles. I bought the truck when I graduated college in '09 and am only responsible for 6k of those. I drove from Winston-Salem, NC to Wilmington, NC during a snowstorm in 2010 and had no issues with the truck switching in/out of lock with the center diff switch. I also regularly take the truck out on Freeman Park on Carolina Beach. I've enjoyed this vehicle so much that I also own an FJ Cruiser I use as my daily driver.

I have an awesome truck and it kills me to sell it, but I'm doing it. I bought it in 2010. Drove it off the used car lot and began a cross country trip that same day. It was awesome! It has been very well looked after in my care. I put in a new engine in Dec 2016. Whoever had it before me ruined it. It runs perfectly and has no issues. If I kept it, I would put on new tires. The ones on it are good for another 5k.

It is with a heavy heart that I’ve decided to sell my Cummins-swapped 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has taken me on two long expeditions that I’ll never forget and many camping and road trips.
I’ve decided to start building up a 2017 Power Wagon for overlanding and while having a spare overlanding vehicle sounds great to me, I need to be realistic. I guess.
I’m listing the Cruiser here first since MUD has been such a great resource for me. I’ll put it up on eBay in 1-2 weeks.

Bought this a couple months ago to build but already have another 80 and have recently got the 62 itch..
Triple locked with with 234,xxx on the clock.
Interior is mostly in good condition minus the 2 rear door panels and the faux wood decals pealing up on the dash and around shifter...
The seat foam is like the day it came out of the factory with some cracking in the leather..
All windows and the sunroof work fine..
Has new front and rear shocks.
HEAD GASKET DONE AT 220K with receipt ($3200)
The bad:
A couple rust spots on the upper tailgate (pictured)
Has 1 softball sized hole in the right front wheel well.. The rest of the under carriage is pretty much surface..
AC does not work.. Not...
I feel like I’m really going to regret this, but I’m throwing in the towel on my 80. I’ve poured my soul into it, but it’s just not the vehicle I need. I have an immaculate LX for when I want to get 12MPG and climb mountains but I need a new(to me) track car or something that can be a dedicated crawler. I’m at a point where I don’t care much the about the money anymore, I’ve spent loads bringing the truck up to where it is, and I just need to cut my losses. A $6,000 MUD price seems fair to me, but do let me know if you think I’m out of line in asking that.
Also, compression is even across all cylinders, and the 1FZ-FE is as healthy as can be.
