fj40 1968 frame off $28500
First things first. . . this will be a very long and detailed description. If you're a Land Cruiser nut like me, it will be a great read and make total sense. If you're not, then I'll cut to the chase. This is a remarkable 1968 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser that lived most of its life in Arizona. Full restoration frame off and ridiculously built, ready for the road or your next off-road adventure. There have been some major mechanical changes to make this a family safe vehicle such as power disc brakes and forward facing rear seats with three point seat belts for everyone. Now the details... I have owned many land cruisers and worked at a shop that restored vintage Corvettes, so when I decided to tackle the restoration of this beautiful...
hey guys, i am new to the FJ/BJ world, love the look of them. i see prices on these all over the price, $5k to 80K. help me out, this is what i am looking for and i am sure there are several on this forum that fit the bill, plz chime in and let me know. i want something i can get in and drive. i am not a mechanic, i have several vehicles, this may get 2500 miles a year on it, definately less than 5k. i want something if i want to take a 500 mile round trip i can without worrying about it. need nice paint, no rust if possible, complete and nice interior. i do not want a show quality fj/bj but something very nice, something that drives straight at 60mph. something that is issue free if that is possible. not looking for a rock...
SOLD - IL - 1975 FJ40 - Rebuilt Mechanically / Disc Brakes
This two owner US Spec Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 came from Arizona. She has had an extensive mechanical overhaul. The owner reports there's "nothing left to do mechanically." The truck has a freshly rebuilt engine that came from a 1976 FJ40 (2F-077633). The engine was rebuilt by Bob Hollingsworth at TPI 4x4 in Nashville. The head was milled .30 over, dome pistons and rings installed. All the new gaskets, vacuum lines, etc. The engine has only a few thousand miles on it. The break-in oil has been changed once. The truck reportedly runs, drives and brakes excellent! The balance of the work including disc brakes was performed by Voodoo Cruisers. 1978 FJ40 Richmond, TX
1978 FJ40 Meet Ava Lucia (Lucy for short). After moving to a new place, I ran into an issue I never thought of... She doesn't fit in the garage. I feel like the cruiser belongs under cover when she is resting... So, I am hoping someone on this forum can help her find a good home. She runs great and has 35's. I am thinking around $22k but am open to discussing. Happy to get more pics if requested.
I've been keeping my eye out for a project and missed out on a few locally that have popped up so figure I'll post up here to be a little more active in my search. I am located in Raleigh NC, but willing to travel or possibly ship the right vehicle. Looking for a project, must have a clean title, prefer one that has a drivetrain but not required. Limited rust is preferred, but also not afraid to go with an aftermarket tub for the right one. Not too picky on model year, and truthfully don't know all the differences between them. Budget around 8-10k, +- obviously depending on vehicle condition and location. I put 45 in the title, but don't expect much in that realm with my budget.
1974 FJ40 Unique build. Fort Collins, co
With four growing boys the 40 is not the most practical truck any more so we will be trading her off. This is one of the most unique 40's out there, with the increased wheelbase and widened flares, stroked 381, lockers front and rear, hard top, soft top and bikini top, full and half doors. Turn key, starts up and runs great every time. check out all the info here. https://sites.google.com/view/offroadfj40/home?authuser=0 thanks Ben - 970-420-6277 Mud Price - $33,500

I am in the market to buy a FJ40. Preferably - 77 -78 -79 US, rebuilt engine 2F, no rust, nice paint job, I want a rig that I don't have to worry about. I know that an FJ40 will be a never ending project, but I want that one car that somebody here has put together and needs to sell. I like stock models, but not a purist, disc brakes, and power steering are needed. 30k and depending on the car possibly up to 40k. serious buyer.
