1975 Toyota FJ40. 2F, 4 Speed. Original engine and transmission. Most of this vehicle is original. It does have a fuel injection kit installed.
Brand new clutch, master cylinder, salve valve, Bilstein shocks, and Cooper tires. I recently took the entire interior apart and Raptor lined the inside in black. I painted the roll bar and seats as well. Cleaned up all interior fabric. Looks brand new! As you can see in the photos, the headliner needs to be replaced. I have a brand new one I ordered, but haven’t installed. I also have other various new parts that will be included such as weather stripping, speaker mounts, muffler, etc. I haven’t had the time to install.

I am looking to purchase an FJ40 as soon as I find the one I would like. I have been searching for an 80's us model that is in good condition and not patched together. I have bid on bring a trailer on a few and I am watching the green 82 right now. That 82 is similar to the one I am looking at this week. I prefer the tan over all others. Has a Chevrolet 350, sm420, advance adapters to Toyota transfer case. It is sprung over high steer with a reverse shackle setting on 33” tires. 1974 Toyota FJ40 that has spent the bulk of its life in the Southwest.
I’ve owned the truck for about 7 years. When I purchased it from Kanab, UT, it had a small block chevy motor and a Ranger 2 speed overdrive adapted to the stock Toyota 4 speed. After about a year or so, I removed the small block and Ranger and purchased a rusted out 1984 Toyota FJ60 for a parts doner to put the drivetrain back to an original style. That truck had about 285,000 miles on the odo. At the time the motor leaked from every seal and gasket but started and ran. I removed the motor, eliminated all of the smog garbage, degreased and cleaned, purchased a new reproduction de-smogged carb from Tollhole, inspected rod and main bearings, bores etc, and resealed...
Selling a running 69 FJ40 factory soft top model that comes with the factory pto winch setup. The truck starts right up and drives & brakes good. The dash is all original and hasn’t been cut or drilled into. The front and rear seats were reupholstered at one point and still are in good shape. The rear floor and one wheel well were replaced with new metal as well. Everything on the truck is mostly original except the Weber carb, electric fuel pump and that they converted it from a column shifter to a floor shifter. I have an FJ40 that I’ve been working on for a couple of years. It needs to be completed and I have all of the parts to complete it. The only reason for selling it is that I just bought a 60 and it feels so good to be back in a 60 series. Anyways, like I said, I have everything to complete the project. 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser fj40 that has a super solid body for its age. Previous owner disassembled it and most of the parts are there with a few exceptions. No front seats and no drivetrain. I do have the transmission and transfer case for it but condition is unknown. The rear jump seats are there and the gauge cluster is also there.
