1972 FJ40 with 128K miles, I’m currently the third owner what I know so far,

1966 FJ40 with a 1969 motor, original 1966 motor included. Second owner. Everything is original to the best of our knowledge. The vehicle is located in Maine.
This vehicle has always been used for ranch work and hunting trips in Wyoming. This is a workhorse. Every scratch and dent has been earned. The body has surface rust but it is in otherwise very good shape. You will see that it took some pretty good hits but those are not flaky, rusty spots - they are solid bent or torn metal and are still solid today.
Some history. I bought the vehicle from the original owner in 2005. He was retiring from his truck repair business. At the time, his sons said the mileage was original and today it has 84967 miles on it.

78’ FJ40. Started its life in Mountain Home Idaho and never left the state, at least for too long. I acquired this rig a year and a half ago from the family of the gentleman that restored it. He had owned it for 29 years. It has multiple modifications and upgrades throughout the years, I’ll do my best to list them all.

Had this FJ40 for 13 years. Bought from a local seller that had purchased in Arizona and brought to San Diego. Have had it serviced at the Truck Shop (TLC specific mechanic) in SD the entire time. Have receipts for literally everything done.
Smog exempt in CA. Chevy 350 SB engine - V8 - runs well. No smoke. Starts up no issues. 4-speed and minimal surface rust, mostly rust free. Unsure when the SB got swapped. Painted back to the original beige color 5 years ago, paint is holding up well. Tires at 95% tread.

Meet Lulu, she is a 1966 FJ40.
We rescued her from a local about 10 years ago. When we uncovered her we were really surprised at how great of a condition she was in. She has been under a tarp for about 20 years. She had no motor or running gear. The seats were toast. But the body and paint were in great shape just needed some elbow grease and some gentle loving to bring her true color back out.
The motor was sourced from a friend a low-mile Chevy Small Block 350. The motor at the time had about 30k on it.
The radiator was re-cored and is in excellent shape.

It breaks my heart, but I am needing to sell my 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 that I’ve been working on for the last 2.5 years.
History: This truck sat in a storage yard for over 20 years before I rescued her. She was a mess, complete with seized engine, shredded seats, rodent poop, a mess.

This 1972 FJ40 is finished in it's mostly original Spring Green paint. This vehicle is a mostly original survivor, a rare find. The front passenger fender was repainted at some point in it's history. 1974 FJ 40 for sale (first year of 4 speed). 3.9L 1.5F engine, odometer shows 95,707 miles. In great shape; 4 wheel power disk brakes, manual steering. Great driver, has an older repaint in white. I've owned this cruiser for over 20 years now but it's officially time for it to go. It is in good condition for it's age but needs a a bit of work and should have a mechanic take a look at it before it heads out on the road for any considerable distance.
Engine
Original B motor. Runs fine but could use a rebuild, or replacement with a 3B or 13BT. Smokes a fair amount at startup. In colder weather requires the use of glow plugs for first two minutes or so to keep the smoke down. The oil pump also sometimes has a tough time priming when the temperature is really hot
Interior
Front seats recovered in blue fabric with factory stitching pattern. Doors and top aren't original, they are beige but period-correct. Headliner is attached, but...
