1965 fj40 california
1965 fj40 dry california native. Has been off the road since 1987! This 65 was pretty much untouched except for a sbc swap early on sometime in the 70’s. It was completely disassembled headed for a rock crawler build! Luckily the owner lost interest and I was able to save it. The top, doors, and seats were tossed? So I have turned it into a fst with oem bows, oem doors( excellent condition)and an nos ocd top that was made about 10 years ago and never unwrapped( plastic protection on the windows still( it is like new and one of the best reproductions) I have sourced a drivers seat, it is missing the pass bench and rear jump seats. I also sourced a good 74 f engine w 4spd trans/ transfer, will include the original 3pd as well. The engine...

1974 FJ40 FST with parts stash, Central Texas $25k obo - SOLD
Unfortunately, it's time to try to sell our FJ40. If you want to read more up on it and see pics (I'll post some more but I don't want to double post the same pics, go here: Putting out feelers on 1974 FJ40 Worth In short, we can't store her anywhere close and I don't want to ruin her. My wife and I talked about finishing out the bows and getting a top but then we'd just be asking more and, seeing how many people are selling tops now, the new owner can pick out their color. When we got her about 5 years ago, she had 27000 miles (looks and owner claimed original but no real proof), her master cylinder was leaking all over the place and it took a full choke pull and a can of carb starter with a lighter to get her running. The...

Maine: 1966 FJ40
1966 FJ40 with a 1969 motor, original 1966 motor included. Second owner. Everything is original to the best of our knowledge. The vehicle is located in Maine. This vehicle has always been used for ranch work and hunting trips in Wyoming. This is a workhorse. Every scratch and dent has been earned. The body has surface rust but it is in otherwise very good shape. You will see that it took some pretty good hits but those are not flaky, rusty spots - they are solid bent or torn metal and are still solid today. Some history. I bought the vehicle from the original owner in 2005. He was retiring from his truck repair business. At the time, his sons said the mileage was original and today it has 84967 miles on it. The motor was...
1978 FJ40….Ready to Roll!!
78’ FJ40. Started its life in Mountain Home Idaho and never left the state, at least for too long. I acquired this rig a year and a half ago from the family of the gentleman that restored it. He had owned it for 29 years. It has multiple modifications and upgrades throughout the years, I’ll do my best to list them all. *Chevy Small block conversion with the original 4 speed transmission. *Power steering modification. *Disc brake conversion all four wheels *3” Old Man Emu lift *Gearing was re-done down to 4:55 I believe. Currently has Yukon pneumatic selectable locker. *Upgraded interior seats. The rear jump seats were replaced with a bench. Driver side seat rail was modified to allow taller drivers more leg room. * Tuffy lockable...

1966 FJ40 Landcuiser - $18,500 (Georgetown) (Rubicon Country)
=========== NOTE - These are not mine, contact the seller via the Craigslist Ad ================= Meet Lulu, she is a 1966 FJ40. We rescued her from a local about 10 years ago. When we uncovered her we were really surprised at how great of a condition she was in. She has been under a tarp for about 20 years. She had no motor or running gear. The seats were toast. But the body and paint were in great shape just needed some elbow grease and some gentle loving to bring her true color back out. The motor was sourced from a friend a low-mile Chevy Small Block 350. The motor at the time had about 30k on it. The radiator was re-cored and is in excellent shape. Edelbrock Carb & Intake NEW She has a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout...
Santa Barbara, CA: 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
LOWERING PRICE TO $25k! It breaks my heart, but I am needing to sell my 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 that I’ve been working on for the last 2.5 years. History: This truck sat in a storage yard for over 20 years before I rescued her. She was a mess, complete with seized engine, shredded seats, rodent poop, a mess. Over the course of these 2.5 years, I had a lot of work done to her. She now runs and looks awesome, but still needs more work, and that is why I have decided to pass her along to the next caretaker. She’s an original California FJ40, with dealer stripes, original paint (aka amazing patina), original 2F 6-cylinder engine. The odometer is stuck at 74K, so unknown how many true miles. I’ve only driven her probably a total of...

BC: 1978 BJ40
I've owned this cruiser for over 20 years now but it's officially time for it to go. It is in good condition for it's age but needs a a bit of work and should have a mechanic take a look at it before it heads out on the road for any considerable distance. Engine Original B motor. Runs fine but could use a rebuild, or replacement with a 3B or 13BT. Smokes a fair amount at startup. In colder weather requires the use of glow plugs for first two minutes or so to keep the smoke down. The oil pump also sometimes has a tough time priming when the temperature is really hot Interior Front seats recovered in blue fabric with factory stitching pattern. Doors and top aren't original, they are beige but period-correct. Headliner is attached, but...
