$1,500 for a 1979 FJ40
Titled as a 1979 but round bezel and mfg date of Dec 1978 would seem to indicate a 1978 but the rear heater and jump seat legs indicate 1979, but per @3_puppies rigs built between September 1978 and December 1978 were still using up the remaining 1978 parts but sold and titled as 1979's. The VIN is FJ40296267. Body, floor pan and frame are badly rusted, so this FJ40 is not a good candidate for restoration but it would be a good parts vehicle for another FJ40 you are restoring or to part out. There are lots of parts that are still useable/salvageable such as engine, transmission, hardtop, glass, dash instruments, roll bar, rims/axles, instrument cluster, steering wheel, doors, jump seat frames, and many other misc parts. 92,254 miles...
1970 FJ40 OME BFG Ready for paint and body work
Need to sell my 1970 FJ40 project for $7800. Freeborn Red. VIN FJ4085616. My wife isn’t in love with having two projects. My 110 needs a new motor and unfortunately the 40 has to be sacrificed. I believe I’m the 3rd owner. Original owner was from Buda, Tx if I remember correctly. I bought it from the second owner from Austin in 2010. It now resides in Bentonville, AR. Always a southern truck. It has a little cancer on drivers floor pan smaller than a dime. Rocker panels are rusted through, rear sill needs replaced. There’s a nice rifle shot through the passenger door! I have a lot of parts compiled for the resto including all door and top seals. I also have late model front and rear 35 spline axles with a Detroit locker and disc...

1971 FJ40 Off-Road Monster – MPI V8-Dana 60’s-40’s-Rock Crawler-Kansas City
$25,000 Just a bit of warning, this will be a very long read with more details than you probably require to make a purchasing decision. If you're looking for a very special FJ40 Crawler that has been built by a Master Craftsman (not me) and sorted properly continue on. It’s way more than a Rock Crawler! One quick note on the pics since you’ll probably skip to them then come back to the copy if you like what you see. I have added a few to this listing but have 78 detailed pics in a Drobox folder linked below or if it’s been scrubbed off I can send it to you. These were all just shot down at my office so what you see is exactly what you’re going to get. I did just clay bar, polish and wax the 40 but keep in mind this is a...

Thinking about either trading or selling my baby...1972 Fj40, absolutely ZERO RUST....Updated 2f engine..ruddy security console...dash has never been cut for a radio. New oem front bumper. brand new front disc brakes. 33 inch KO2’s with less than 1000 miles. Seats reupholstered and no rips. I do not have the top, it was trashed. The paint is “Toyota quicksand”. The crackhead who painted it did a s*** job and the hood has some cracks and bubbles..I’ll sell it for around 18k unless you have a good offer or a sweet trade for a ballin 60 or 100 daily driver...I’m in central Colorado.

1971 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 $9000 in Colorado
I have a very solid 1971 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 (1F Engine), with 95,951 miles on it, three on the tree manual transmission: $9000 obo. This was a barn find in Evergreen, Colorado. I am the third owner, who purchased it from a gentleman who restored FJ40s. Although there is some rust in the typical areas, the frame, floor, firewall, hood, wheel wells, and fenders, are solid and straight. This FJ40 has never been lifted or cut on. My intention was to restore it to original condition. After I purchased it, I replaced all fluids, plugs/wires, and rebuilt the carburetor. Everything was functional (electrical, brakes, and 4x4). I also purchased the parts to convert it to a four on the floor manual transmission (trans, transfer case...
