****NEW PRICE**** $18,000 obo. 1978 FJ40 purchased 3 years ago from California. All rust has been taken care of except for behind diamond plate, and that is a very small amount, not rusted through that I can tell. Will send video or photos to prospective buyers. Original 2F engine runs strong and is quick for a 40, will cruise at 70 on the interstate. Has headers and a Weber carb with automatic choke, fires up quick every time. Man-A-Fee bumper is very stout and useful. Tuffy locking center console. Aftermarket bluetooth stereo with amp under driver's seat (mounted high, not on floor). Tires are excellent condition, wheels are in great shape. New Warn hubs replaced old Selectro. New tie rod ends will be included but not installed. Slight leak from oil pan gasket, do not need to add oil between oil changes which were done every 6 months or 3K. Speedometer is showing 93,XXX but I have no way of knowing if thats original. Rear disc brake conversion, she stops on a dime. Headliner is starting to drop from hard top ceiling. Seats are covered, I have never had covers off. Mini truck power steering.

This Cruiser turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere I go. I thought this would be a vehicle that I would pass down to my kids but life happens and I can no longer afford to keep this truck. I am not interested in trades at this time. I can assist with transport for the right price. Please email or message with questions and I will return the call/email.

Only allowed to upload 5 photos, will post more in replies.

Forgot to mention 2" lift installed by previous owner. I daily drive this Cruiser so miles will go up. Also turn signals are working intermittently, working on figuring that out now, possible loose ground.

Do you have any photos of the panels with the diamond plate removed ?

No sorry I don't. I can take photos of the back side or video chat you. I was going to take the plating off but got under the truck to do so and noticed the driver side rear corner was cracked at the bend in the body. I just left for work but will take some pics and post them here tomorrow. The entire undercarriage has been coated with a POR15 type paint but don't know the actual brand.
