I run 37's and have run 38's on my 40 with just 4" skyjacker lift springs.
Not super flexy, but I've done a lot of hard wheelin on the setup and had a lot of fun with it.
Flip front and rear springs, trim up front fenders and open the rear fenders to the top of the wheel wells and wide them to accomodate the new rear axle position and you're golden.
