Non negotiables:

2. No rust
3. 98-99 (for rear diff locker)
4. No water leaks

Krown oil spray before and after winter, wax and car wash. Old man winter ain’t that tough

I have a black '98, gold lettering, double locked with 140k miles and clean Carfax in Bethlehem PA. It's a little physically beat up and has maaco paint job and minimal frame rust though.
Plus side is I've done a ton of maintenance lately with all Toyota parts (front brakes/MC, timing belt, radiator etc.)
That and I'll let it go cheap because I just got a new Tacoma.
Like I said, she's a little rough but a hell of a deal and mechanically strong.

Does riverrock green count as grey?

I’ve got a grey one with 275k and tons of maintenance.

Bump still looking. Max I’m willing to spend is $10000 for a really nice lower mileage example. Prefer unmodified examples

willing to travel within 5 hour radius.

5 hours flying radius?

Bump. Still looking to purchase.

I have a gray 1999 LC with rear locker, 160k miles and a lot of new parts including timing belt, water pump, fan bracket, radiator, starter, hoses, fluids, tires with zero mile ..... Car is in AZ, please let me know if you are interested.

Keep religiously checking CL. There was a black 99 with rear locker 200k and only surface rust in NoVa last week. Sold for $5k in a couple hours.

I tried to get in contact with that guy. Called him within an hour of the posting being listed and it was already gone.

Bump still looking. Members please respect my budget I’m not spending $14K-17K on your 22 year old SUV sorry.

You gotta realize that the market for clean 100 series hasn't come down in the year since you posted. If anything, it's gone up.

If you're not searching multiple times a day, then that unicorn 100 (llow mile, no rust, well maintained, low price) is unlikely to fall into your lap. I bet there are at least a couple hundred dudes across the country looking for what you describe. And many of them are flippers who have nothing else to do all day.

I don’t think 8-10000$ is a low price for a 22 year old LC. I’m not asking for perfect condition I’m just asking rust free with lockers and black paint.

Ace speaks with knowledge. I was very fortunate to have a Super clean, well maintained built ,yet never off road 100 -fall in my lap. I took that for granted untill I searched, studied And seen what’s available. Nothing like a Clean well maintained Built 100. Most likely the owner knows what it is and wants the $ for it. Even if it’s 20years old
