I'm a Newbie and have only owned my LX470 for a few months.
I've picked up a lot of the terminology over my time on this Form
but some things I don't know what the topic is all about.

What is Slee?

What is Hundy?

What is locker - as on 1998-1999 LX/LC?

Slee Off Road. Great place to spend all of your money

xxx

Locker, as in locking differential.

I am a complete noob also but I know what these mean.

Hundy = Hundred (100 series Land cruiser/LX 98-07)
Slee is a shop in Colorado that makes and sells offroad products for these trucks
Locker is a differential locker (locks both wheels so no free spin) that came on the early model LC and never came on the LX in the US.

I had to google to find out what VGRS was when reading this Forum - Variable Gear Ratio Steering.
I looked in my 2002 LX470 owners manual for VGRS but it only mentioned something
about speed proportional power steering. Apparently VGRS was introduced in 2002.
I assume this is all correct.

Holy acronym list @Sandroad - that should be in the FAQ!

I typed up a copy and uploaded it to my Dropbox. The link can be found HERE. I figured some people like myself would like to print off a copy in case they needed it. Which I know for certain I will more than a few times! Might have to get it laminated...Anyway, thank you @Sandroad for putting this list together! This is what the MUD community is all about:cheers: Sooo FAQ?? @Trunk Monkey @e9999

And still no AHC ;-)

Look for others that are missing (IFS and AHC are def. 2 big ones) and then I'll compile a final list for the FAQ.

Dif
UCA
Frame thingy (nah... make'em work for that one)
TB - torsion bars
