Thinking about buying one of these to aid in backing up and not hitting anything. Anyone point the camera over the rear bumper/swing-outs? What does that look like?
This is my solutionMy rear camera mount. It's working really well, even if it's ugly as hell.

I sure do. I miss it with my side mirrorsdoes anyone miss the auto dimming function on the rear view after swapping to the wolfbox?
I feel you. Im just hoping I get used to it. I also hate the fact that we’re disabling the auto dimming side mirrors with the removal of the oem mirror. I also really don't want to deal with fishing the cable through the headliner to put back the old mirror.Interesting product and I see the value. I personally was not a fan after I installed mine. The requirement to refocus your eyes on a different distance was very jarring to me. When you're looking up the road and glance at a rear view mirror, your eyes don't have to change focus depth. You're still looking at a distance equal to the one forward. When you switch to these LED screens, you now have to focus from great distance to 18" in order for your eyes to register what's happening behind you.
For some people this may be fine, but I lasted about a month before I went back to a normal rearview mirror. I just couldn't get used to it.
