I have a 2002 Lexus LX 470 that I recently decided to replace the suspension on. I installed the drivers side front shock I ordered from Dobinsons [IMS59-60786 Monotube IFP] and when I went to lower the truck back down I am now basically resting on the tire. I am wondering if the issue will be corrected once I install the torsion bars? Any insight would be helpful.

The AHC torsion bars are softer than non-AHC bars because some of the load is supported by the shocks themselves.

You need non-AHC torsion bars
Thank you, I ordered them with the suspension kit. Would it be better to install the drivers side torsion bar before the passenger side shock?

Yea would do the torsion bars first.

I have the same suspension and love it. The shocks are there to control the rebound, not support the vehicle. The torsion bars support the vehicle. Install both torsion bars before installing the shocks. You could potentially damage the shocks when they bottom out.

I got the kit installed in its entirety and its incredible. 2.5in difference in the front and rear from when I had the stock on there.
Well done!!! The more you drive it, the better it feels. I purchased the +400lb coils for the rear due to an additional 25-gallon gas tank, rooftop tent, refrigerator, etc... When it's loaded, it's very smooth.
