Soooo..my cousin's husband is a pilot and now flys the LAX to Toyko route and she said to make a list if I want anything from Japan for my cruiser (74 FJ40).

I am going to Japan next week actually... is this hinting at the fact that there is a plethora of FJ parts and such in Japan? cheap?

hmmm... if so, may have to keep my eyes out for stuff. would love to find an original stamped bezel for one thing.

There are very few 40s or 40 parts available in Japan. Like most other places, they have been out of production for some time now. Hell, I had a difficult time finding some 80 parts. Also, there is nothing cheap to be found in Japan. I lived there for 3 years and still go back to visit once in a while as my wife is Japanese. Japan is VERY expensive.
