image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hi there, I just spent about 8 hrs repairing my wiper arm bush. But I eventualy figured out the easy way. So to save you guys hours of frustration here it is. First locate and remove wiper motor. On the back of the motor there is a small motor arm, remove it with a 12 mm ring spanner and lay the motor out of the way. You will see behind the the motor opening a link arm with a hole in in it. Now your bush comes in 2 little pieces. Take the mushroom shaped piece and push it though the link arm hole. Then get the ring shaped part of The bush and push it over the locking part of the mushroom part. You will see how this all goes together it not rocket science. Now now get a multi wrench and crimp it together. This is quite awkward but you'll get it. It doesn't close all the way but keep spining and crimping till it won't crimp any more. Now get some none petroleum lube such as hand cream and smear it over the ball part of the motor arm and push it into the opening of the bush. It won't go all the way by hand so crimp it with the multi wrench till it doesn't go any more. Give the arm a spin round to see if you've crimped it evenly and a wiggle to make sure it's all good. Bolt the motor back on to the arm and then the motor back to the fire wall. It should be right now. It's a bastard of a job but I hope this helps. I put some pictures up to help a little. Good luck

Where did u get the replacement bushings?

I hope it's wrong, but the Delivery Cost Calculator estimated shipping the Los Angeles, for 1 or 2 set, to be $80.22!

I replaced the whole linkage assembly. Expensive, but damn it's nice having tight wipers, lol. Wish I had known about this option then.

Group buy to cut down on shipping?

I emailed the vendor for the bushing. There's a cheaper method of shipping to the US - approx $24. I bought 4 bushes. I will post up how it works. If the install goes well, I'll sell the extra two. If I mess it up...I have spares. This replaces only the bushing on the wiper motor end of the linkage, so am curious to see what kind of improvement that makes.

Put me in for one. Thanks

Very interested to see how this works out for you. I would love to have "normal" wipers again!
If you end up with an extra bushing, put me down for one! Good luck

I just ordered 4 of these bushings. Ill be selling any extra (hopefully 2) here in the US once i get mine set up if there are any takers. I am so excited to be able to use my wipers again

@TOME , put my name in the hat for the extra bushings you might have, please. THNX!

did you have much luck with these?

Jeez that was a colossal PITA, but I finally got them installed. I am glad I ordered extras, a couple of them wore out by the time I got the hang of things. The trick above was great, but it only worked on the motor end of the linkage. I pulled the whole mess out of mine because I had to replace the middle bushing as well. The middle one is a bitch and a half, it just would not go. I finally said screw it and added an o-ring behind the bushing to keep the two pieces mostly connected.

Also- When I ordered mine, they did some voodoo with the shipping and it cost $71.54 to get it to Arkansas ($36.36 parts, $35.18 Shipping)
