I made a youtube video. This will save you time, if your bushing came lose or off like mine this is the fix, sepcailly for the middle segment. you can use the same part behind the wiper motor seegment if that one is lose as well.

Did your Land cruisers wiper linkage come loose? Your bushing probably broke after 40 years like mine did. heres a $8 workaround and an explanation of how I reattached the assembly and got my windshield wipers working again.Pictured here is also the 1998-2001 forerunner wiper blade upgrade, which is a simple install//Its a bit of a pain in the ass doing it but youll get through it!

Parts/ Tools needed:
Vice Grips (correct size)Napa part show in video
Grease
Dremel (or some other means to sand down *ridge lines* on bushing)
Lighter
phillips screwdrivers
reasonably good attitude
Wrist strength
Step Ladder

Consider removing the air cleaner and a slightly smaller vice grip for better access. I did not as Im a hard headed 27 year old who likes doing things the quicker but harder way.

heres antoher helpful video (I did not make it)

Napa 600-3505
Yep. Worked perfectly after I trimmed a bit of mold flash off
