Where to find a fJ 40 blower motor hose

I have a 78 fj40 and I'm looking for the corrugated hose on the top of the blower motor (heater). It has a square end on one side and a round gromet type end on the other. It's only about 5 inches or so. Spector told me they don't have it. Does anybody know where I might find such an animal, I haven't checked the dealer yet? Thank you Steve

What corrugated hose on top of the blower motor? Defroster hose (#2)? Sorry, I just don't know what you're asking for.

I would have to wake up my wife to download a picture and she would get salty, I'm not the brightest bulb with computers. The drawing you posted doesn't show it. It's directly on the top of the blower motor, the one side of the moter has the resister and the other side has this hose. It's only a few inches and it goes into the housing below it. It just seems like a vent to me, does this help? Thank's

that hose is on the newer ones i believe have it on my 77.go to wanted and someone will probably have one for you good luck

I'm confused too. Here is a pic of the blower motor that mounts to the firewall under the hood.

Sorry, I'm also confused. My '78 has no such hose as described by you.

I don't know why yours doesn't have it and mine does, I think it's just to vent the motor. I don't get it??

I believe this is what you are needing? I just happened to have this pic under 1978 FJ40 but can not verify it IS from a 1978.

Ok it looks like this is a 1982-84 blower motor. I found a couple of pics starting in 1982 that I can barely make out that hose...

I've got a 12/78 there is no hose coming off the top of the blower. Maybe someone installed one from a different year at some point(?)

That's the little beast, Jake! I will check the dealer to see if they have it and how much they'll rape me for it but if anyone has one that's nt cracked or torn i would go with that. Mine may not be the original but it just doesn't make sense why some of them have it and some don't.

There is a different motor listed for 01/79 and later. I don't see a separate number for the hose, so it is perhaps part of the motor assembly.
