Splash shields. The larger one goes on the pass side in the engine compartment. I think the starter will fit in the "cut out" at the top of the picture.

Found the spot for the smaller one. Two crusty/rusty bolts in place...

Any body know if this piece fits with headers. My 40's never had one since I've owned it but maybe the headers are why. Thought I'd ask before going to the trouble of looking for one. Thanks!

Check the for sale section for people parting out a rig.
Printout the schematic, so tou can tell em' which ones you want.

$OR sells them outta their used junk to. Bead blasted, repaired and primered.
