Need some help guys. I have a 1984 BJ 45 Troopy. I purchased a set of Simex Jungle Trekker 2 tires size 33x11.5x15 and I am supposed to take delivery on these tires this week. I also ordered a set of eaton beadlocks 15x10. Will both wheels and tires fit without having problems? I know most people fit 12.5 on 15x10 wheels but simex only have 11.5 on 33's. Thanks in advance for inputs!:)

Wow that is a super wide rim for that tire. Your headlock is going to add another half to an inch in width. Yours will look like a hoopty gangster ride. Never run the eatons before so not much help there. what backspace did you get?

That looks ok but your tires are way wider than the ones he is buying

Can you get 15x8? Many are running the with 12.50 to keep the rims away from the rocks.

Camcruiser,

Got 3.5 backspacing on the wheels. Unfortunately, 12.5 are only available on 36 simex tires from the seller, which is too big for my rig. Will try to get the tires today. My eatons are coming hopefully by the end of August. Sigh... Thanks.:)

On mine it works great, 35x13.5/ 15x10 rims.

This is all based on your lift, :D

Is the Troopie spring under/stock?

If it looks like this one you might want to sell the rims 2 me...

My troopy has a standard lift.
Sell...hmm. If your willing to pay shipping to Manila, Philippines to US, it yours. Hahaha. It would probably cost more to ship than the cost of the wheels. Thanks.:)

Pics of my troopy. Currently running 16x6 wheels (from Prado or 80 series) with 305/70 R16 Mickey Thompson Baja Mtx.

If you want to check more pics of my rig, go to the 45 classified section and got to WTB: Troopy rear seats and tachometer bezel. Sorry, dont know how to link it. Thanks.

This will work and as long as he has the suspension clearance, he's o.k. ************

If your mounting a 9.5" tire on a 10" that's different (starting fluid required) :hillbilly:

I always ;) your positive posts,camcruiser :D
Thanks. That's a relief. Unfortunately, I paid for both wheels and tires, so there's no turning back!:)

Nice Jay! Love your Troopy. That first time I saw I was totally impressed with you have done to it. Taking the tub loose on mine tomorrow because she is 1" out of square and I can't get the passenger door mounted properly lol!

Thanks for the compliment Rob! Yeah I know what you mean. When I installed the rear seats of the troopy, it took me and my friend two days just to install it. We were having problems aligning the seats! Drilling holes on the floor was easy part. Hope you finish your transmission. Thanks.:)
