From a couple years back, but if anyone still wants to see a 100% stock (no lift) tire size upgrade to a 285. 2001 Land Cruiser

Only issue was a small interference on the lower spash guard at the outside edge. A gently heatgun application softened the plastic enough to flatten in out slightly and that's all that was required. Full lock-to-lock steering with no rubbing.

285/xx/Rxx ?

I’m surprised that I don’t see more 295/70/17’s on here, or 17’s, period. I get why 16’s and 18’s are more common on 100’s but to me there seems to be just so many more tire options in 17”. It’s hard to ignore.

Been debating on either 285/75/16's or 295/75/16's for new tires.

Do you need spacers with 295/75/16's and stock 16x8 wheels?

Any feedback is appreciated.

No they'll fit fine.

Will 295/75/18 fit on a stock LX470 with AHC? ty man

Does anyone make that size? Some people run a 295/70r18 without rubbing by doing a pinch weld mod. 295/75r18 would be really really big.

I have a 2005 LX. The OEM size is 275/60/18. If I were to drive 80% on roads/highways and 20% light off road what tires and size should I go for (with AHC and running boards on)?

Running 275/70/18 KM3s on stock AHC suspension. Absolutely no issues.

Do you have an overall pic of your vehicle, like a side shot and then one from the front or back? I am interested in this exact same setup on 18s as well, and wanted to get a better idea of how they look overall.

I'm thinking of going with 275/70/18 or 285/70/18 on stock 2006LC with AHC.

i'll be mostly driving sand and the damn highway to get there.
Will both fit fine with no issues?

Do y'all know if the increased height will cause premature wear or stress on the OEM?
Do y'all suggest getting the speedometer reset?

I'd like to see the side view of that truck too @Wesley Crusher

thanks

275/70r18

Would you suggest LT or not.

Thinking the 275/70/18 will be a good size.
Now just deciding between LT on not.

Eyeballing the NittoTerra Grappler G2 vs the Yoko Geolander A/T. Both have an LT version in this size.

G2’s look like low profiles. Geolander mt’s are dope

will 275/70/18s fit in the spare tire location without any issues? I remember running 275/65/18s no problem but it was starting to get tight in that space.

Believe so, saw somewhere they fit but it's very tight.
Did you like that size?

Yes. I ran the ridge grapplers in the 275/65/18 size my 06 LX and loved them. Was very pleased with them but wondering about going up one size the the 275/70/18 since they will fit without any mods or issues.
