what is a bj70 worth?

im just pissed off because i have cruiser envy

My advise: Never buy a cruiser (or any vehicle), when you have a serious case of envy going on.
You will end up settling for less/worse then you should, and usually end up paying to much too.

there is always another one coming along.
Bruce picked up a very strong running old BJ70 for a resonable price just a few months back. Pter also picked up a beater 70 that runs great for cheap same with Craig and a few others. if you get in a hurry you get to regret in your leasure...
keep an eye on the papers, ear to the ground and cash in hand and you will end up with one that is worth the money...

saw a bj60 today.
it seriously didnt have a frame past the rear doors. there was nothing but rust, and somehow the body was holding it together. test drove it and there was this terrifying whining noise that was louder than the engine. i crawled under it and found the whine was coming from a very worn pinion bearing.
i think ill give that cruiser a miss.

what years of cruisers came with airconditioning? i thought 60 series and 70 series all came with a/c... whats the deal was it a factory option? or they only started it after a certain year?

afaik, cdn spec 85 BJ60s, 86 + 87 HJ60s got air. Cdn 70s didn't.

Man, you should put your money in a trust fund that three of us have to sign off on. Your love of Landcruisers will be over quick if you end up buying one of these rusted-out heaps.
