I am one lucky guy. My company took my wife and I to Monaco (Monte Carlo) for a week. We got back on Monday and I'm just now pulling out of the jetlag fog.

Thought I'd share a couple of shots of the auto porn that is abundant if you like $200k + sports cars.

We got bored with looking at the high end Mercedes. Towards the end, even a Lamborghini was a bit blase'. The $1mil Bugatti did catch my attention when we were at the Monaco Casino.

Expensive?

Lunch for two ... $100

A snack and a couple beers... $50

Cheapest beer... $10

A real French dinner for two... $300

One square foot of property in Monaco... $12,000

Typically French?

The French Server rolling his eyes at us when we attempted to say "Bon Jour"... Priceless

Seeing an Italian father and his son booby hunting at the beach... Priceless

Here are a couple shots. We were staying at the resort on the water on the right side of the picture overlooking the beach, and as though the topless beaches weren't enough, the pool was sand bottom.

Sorry... you'll have to zoom in yourself to see the "topless" part... I don't want to get banned :D

The only Cruiser Porn though I did see a 40 at a distance but couldn't get to where it was.

My wife looking at a Ferrari... wondering how she got stuck with me instead of the owner probably.

Thought I'd share...

man what a sweet trip Steen!!! I mean you went from roughing it at OTMT to rubbing elbows with the worlds elite, talk about extremes :D

nice cars, although I believe the one next to the porsche is a Lambo......... or atleast I think all I really know is I can't afford either one

cool trip

that black car your wife is looking in, is that not a lambo?

You are correct... they all look the same after you've seen dozens. Sportscar/shmortzcar. :D

For $75 you could rent a Ferrari and drive the 1.8mil Monaco Grand Prix circuit. With traffic, that's about a 5 minute ride. I opted out and bought 7 beers instead :D

Awesome! that had to be a cool trip.

Ah, Monaco. The tiny monopolistic tax haven on the French Mediterranean...

Looks like a great trip Steen! Was this a "President's Club" type deal? If so, congrats!

I was supposed to visit Monaco on my last trip to Europe but we opted for an extra 2 days in Amsterdam. :D

Nice photos Steenh!!! Looks awesome. Sorry to hear about the bad attitudes. When my wife and I were in France a few years ago, everyone was super nice to us. Must be the small-town vs. big city difference.

I bet Steen got sloshed and started channeling James Bond the whole time and the French richy riches got pissed :)

It was exactly a "Pres Club" trip. I've spent some time in Amsterdam too. There are things to do there that you just can't do anywhere else

Dan, What's wrong with Bond... and my British accent is a hell of a lot better than my French! Might have been the time I tried to slide over the hood of the Lambo and got stuck on the antenna?

The French have no sense of humor I tell ya!!! Well, maybe the raw egg in crepe for lunch thing... that's kind of funny.

Actually, while the service wasn't spectacular, the people were very friendly overall. No issues other than the waiter, and he hated us because we were breathing, not because we were American.

Sounds like too many restaurants anywhere these days...

A friend got some shots of the Bugatti. I heard it's a $1mil car, he said he heard it's a $1.8 Euro (about $2.4mil). I'll have to look that up.

Here are the shots. It was one beautiful car. I left a finger print on it :D

I played around on the Bugatti site and poked around the web...

It has a 16 cylinder, quad turbo engine...does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.

It is only 1.7 million US :)

Congrats on the trip steenh. I'm with ADP in Greenville, SC and the folks that went from here had a blast. See you on the Big Island if not before.

What division are you? Sales I assume?

I'm looking forward to the Island. Never been and I hear it's a good trip. Not sure it can live up to Monaco, but hell, I can have fun in the woods with a bunch of cruiserheads so I'm sure I'll survive!:D

Carolinas sales division - reporting to Charlotte. Mid Market Client DM for Upstate SC and Western NC. I joined ranks in November so Monte Carlo was no option this year. All the guys in the office that went to HI several years ago said it was a blast - from what they can remember! I'll be in the ATL office this Friday 8/31 doing some training.

I think your office is on Northside Dr. If you get a chance to swing up to Alpharetta (up 400), give me a shout and maybe we can grab a beer. Not too far out of the way back to 85 and home.

Friday? Beer? hmmm?
