^^^ Ouch... damn. Sorry to see that.

This week I finally finished up 1). installing my clutch master cylinder and slave 2). adjusted the clutch, finally feels right now. 3). cleaned up the transmission and transfer case, they were pretty bad, still not perfect but WAY better. 4). replaced my clutch fork boot. 5). drained the sludge out of both tranny and transfer and replaced with actual oil. 6). polished a few things up. 7). slapped some el' cheepo seat covers over the torn vinyl and foam.

Another good use for a Toyota Land Cruiser; tie your goats to the tow hooks.

OK. I've now revised my image of the lifestyles of the people of Florida (and the sorts of assets they own).

:D

I thought they were called "goat hooks", never heard of tow hooks!

But then we're from Santa Fe. Perhaps people who live elsewhere tie their goats to other parts of their Land Cruisers.

Changed my transfer case fluid and installed a newer style drain plug my local Toyota dealer said would fit.

FINALLY finished up the new cooling system and installed my new Trollhole carb. Then, after ordering the proper connector (as a PO had installed some garbage carb, original fittings long gone) I got the fuel line and OEM air cleaner on. Took it out for a few hours today, runs GREAT (thanks Marshall @ Trollhole) and never got remotely hot. I'm in love again...

Got a part number for that? I'd love to fit one to my low hanging pto case.
