new water pump and ALT

This weekend I started installing a new water pump and AD244 130amp alternator. I finished things up last night and today is the final check of everything. Pictures will be posted soon along with a write up on the AD244 install, since I have not seen anything on that ALT here on the forum. The 130 amp alt came from a 2001 Chevy Tahoe and with minor fabrication fit just fine.

Did anyone else notice that Destin was the only one without a pack?

The Hiking, Relationship and Dog Owner gods are gonna smite you.

But apart from the obvious fact that Destin is naturally lazy, awesome photoset mate and nice to see the Cruiser gods were kind to you on that day.

I only had enough time to get the front done on a 4" HFS install. The 77 40 is looking like a low rider ... near draging in the rear with the stock springs.

Awesome pics. My old great dane passed away awhile ago, and I dont think my 3 chihuahua would be as useful with their packs as he was.

Doesn't get much better than enjoying nature with your girl, dog and cruiser.

Wanted to add a coolant over flow and since I did not find one that fit a '74 I bought a small generic one, then built a bracket, so I did not have to drill into apron or mount it far from the raditor

Replaced the TRE's, topped off the drive line fluids, adjusted the brake light switch that would come on if you bumped the pedal when you got out(and stayed on).
