I changed the oil and put on my dirty soft top. Since its raining here in Oregon I pulled it outside to get a bath.

De-weberfied mine. Mark's Offroad rebuilt the Aisan I got in a box from the PO. HUGE difference!

Put New Procar seats and tuffy center console in mine. What a difference it made. Unreal. Needed the leg room badly and the bucket seats hug pretty well. Huge improvement. Highly recommend a seat upgrade.

Stood staring at the front wheels of my '71/40; contemplating replacing the wheel cylinders/shoes and bearings like I did on on the rear p.73 this thread. Had a beer and decided to put it off. Again.

After engine swap, a few weeks ago I replaced pitman seal and rear T-case seal and for ~ 3 weeks had a leak free 40. Then the front T-case seal began arterial bleeding.

This Saturday morning I pulled front drive shaft, removed bad seal and replaced with new seal in ~30 minutes and for the first time since I got this beast a job was done on time, with no additional trips to store or web for the “right” part, and it worked!!!

I know that aint gona happen again any time soon.

Currently replacing rear wheel bearings on my newly acquired HJ 47 troopy. I HATE CONE WASHERS!

In the last few months I've been cleaning, & painting all sorts of small parts, just getting everything ready for the interior and enginebay. The front body pieces were painted in the fall, & are ready to go on. I just have to pressure wash the enginebay & frame, I painted those last summer, but it's hard to tell with all the dust.
A month or two ago, I rebuilt my center arm, & replaced all my tierod ends with kits from Cool Cruisers. This weekend I installed the heater hoses, dog house, heater, floor mat ( only the portion over the dog house remains), gear shift dust boots, heater duct, glove box lid, ash tray, & new foot control pads from CCoT. In the 16+ years that I've had this rig, it's never looked so darn good!! To think that I almost sold it 2 years ago. (The guy said he was always a j**p fan, & I found, that just couldn't sell it to him. Then I started it's lengthy restoration. Almost done!!!!

Finally found some decent cheap bucket seats that support my f#@%$d back, they're not gigantic and are still comfortable! Huge deal to me! now need to weld up a frame. probably sell my bench seat on CL if I can motivate.
