The only problem with that part is it would mean I have to get the bolt loose that goes on the block end and that probably means a torch, cursing, and possibly welding a new head on it once or twice. Other than that what a nice mod!
Last time I was dealing with that problem I welded a bolt on instead. I can’t spot the picture, but using an old bolt gave me better access to weld it on. I welded the skinny end to the head of the stuck bolt btw.The only problem with that part is it would mean I have to get the bolt loose that goes on the block end and that probably means a torch, cursing, and possibly welding a new head on it once or twice. I know, sometimes I get luckyWow… your manifold doesn’t have a crack in the bottom like most of them…
Funny. I named my 7/70 "Rattley" 30 years ago! If it didn't rattle it was parked!Fixed a crazy rattle in my ambulance door, due to the spring in the lower latch mechanism being totally worn out. Now I can hear all the other rattles much better.
Fine piece of work but needs to go to the tech section!Just finished a complete radiator cap lift and replacement.

Can I get a part# on those? They look great. Are they blue light or white? Thanks.Threw on some City Racer headlights. They fit perfectly and look great. The instructions indicated that some fiddling may be needed to get them in, but they went in without a hitch in my 78. I've always been a little hesitant about driving my 40 at night, but I'm good to go now. Thanks @Racer65 !

I'll have to give that a shot when I get around to having to loosen that sucker.Last time I was dealing with that problem I welded a bolt on instead. I can’t spot the picture, but using an old bolt gave me better access to weld it on. I welded the skinny end to the head of the stuck bolt btw.
