Thanks Danny! I love driving that truck. I cant wait to get my RTT and start heading west on some adventures.

GEtting close to completing my quick restore on my BJ40. Alignment then new exhaust. Next week we plan on rear disc brake conversion and tie up some loose ends...tho I doubt I ever will be completely satisfied and finished.

Looking good - what are those tires? Swampers? 4" lift?

Thank you.
The tires are Komodo extreme 35x10.50 r16 mounted on OEM split rims. The lift is a 4” HFS. We developed a direct fit power sterring pump for B engines so you can run duel crank pulleys and belts. Also added an electric fan to the aluminum radiator and made a huge difference. No more water pump fan :)

I bought some 16x7 hub cap wheels from @koxfarm a few weeks ago for my 67 FJ45V. I finally got some 255/85R16 BFG KM2's fitted to them and mocked them up under the wagon. So stoked with the look of them.

See this thread for info about the rims

That’s my dream truck! Looks amazing

Modified my stock radiator mount for clearance around the Saginaw power steering shaft. This should allow me to mount the radiator lower and more on-center with the V8 when it goes back in.

Does anyone have any ideas or estimates as to how much space I should leave above the steering shaft to account for frame/body flex? I want to mount the radiator as low as I can but I don't want the steering shaft to bind on the mount in a flexed situation.

I've got about a 1/2" where the shaft passes the top of the frame, just above the axle. Never rubs.

Well, this modification earned me about 1.75" of space to move down, if the mount was resting on the steering shaft. I guess I'll see how much leeway I can give it once the engine is back in, but I'd like to give it at least a 1/2."

@gator25 Your rig looks awesome! Especially how well the front end lines up. I am having a bear of a time getting the front end to even come close to lining up...

Need some opinions: I cleaned up and repainted a used front bib guard from metal tech. I’m torn on whether or not to use it. I don’t wheel as much as I used to but at times I appreciate the look and functionality. Thoughts?

If you like this look hit like or if you like the look without the bar like the post below. Then I’ll tally up the votes.
