You need to post pics to validate your resto job, sorry, but without pics it never happened.![]()
Yea, I'm trying to figure out how to do that. I was looking at the before pics last night and I've been working on this so long that I forgot how bad it was before I started. Felt so good about the results I grabbed a beer out of the frig to celebrate. You need to post pics to validate your resto job, sorry, but without pics it never happened.![]()
It's a beautiful day today at PNW, so I attached my trusty trailer to the 40 and went lumber shopping! I smiled the entire trip! All the cruiser sounds were music to my ears!

Pulled the odometer out and cleaned everything up. Removed the little helmet looking light shields. Odometer was stuck at 999. The light mod worked great, can actually see the gauges now. Thanks to you guys for posting these mods in the past.View attachment 1257547
I just dropped it into a bowl of mean green and let it sit for s couple hours. Blew it off and sprayed with a electrical lube. Worked it in really good then wiped off the excess.I am not ready to do this yet but how do you go about cleaning the number wheel? Thanks

Always got to watch out for those predators in the desertOn a whim, daBoise and I took a drive up to Beatty, NV (200 miles round trip) to check out sorage containers at the military surplus place. I visited with "Keith" for quite a while... a super nice guy!!
But, I was looking for specific Hardigg boxes or medium sized Medical Storage boxes. Keith had one huge Hardigg box and a couple of large medical boxes... and a ton of various sized ammo cases!!
Anyway, it was a very nice drive and daBoise and I stopped by Big Dune on the way back.
