I repaired the upper locking mechanism from my ambulance reardoors and greased the underside greasing points.
I allso made myself a new tool to open those stuck knuckle grease port bolts. I welded two 1/2" sockets togethet so that i could use my socket wrench for square bolt heads.

Best gas pump gawker I ever got was a guy who kept glancing over and finally just said "sir, if you don't mind me asking, what the **** is that thing?"

Paint job done, enjoying the reassembly. Sggoat Gary came by and helped me install/wire my dash toggle for the electric fuel pump (no hole cutting on dash! Gary always brings stuff over, this time he brought a new olive green Toyota hat (and other Cruiser goodies) to complement the new paint job. After 7 months of stripping, sanding, cleaning and fowlest of swearing; along with the non stop guilt of neglect of yard, home etc etc ad naseum. Tis truly a joyful feeling to be at this point!!!

Hey - I am curious how you wired up an the electric fuel pump. In the off chance I end up going to a vortec I'm going to need to figure out how to wire an electric pump. Did you write it up anywhere?

Last Sunday started to remove the Nokians studded tires and mount my old BFG Mud Terrain from last year.
Noticed that all had cracks the sidewall's.
Purchased and Installed new BFG Mud Terrain TA KM2 33x10.5x15
Winter Nokians brought us luck, every time I mount them no snow in the low lying areas.
Lots of snow on the local mountains.

I installed my new seats. They were converted from RHD to LHD and the truck will be soon as well.

Those would look great in my 47. Was it a local upholster? If you don't mind me asking how much $??

Thanks! I did have them upholstered locally. The work was done at Rods Customs. It's a body shop that currently employees the two best in upholstery guys locally.

Sorry for the double posting of pictures, it looks like I double clutched the upload button!

Tysano, any idea what the part number at NAPA is for the wheel cylinder rebuild kit?
