just picked up the little tow dealeo that ya slide in the tow hitch spot, nothing major! New tires on Tuesday, 285/70/R18's in the BFG Mud Terrain flavor!
Pretty sure they are the only flavor in that size, but I did truly mean 285/70 R18... Basically a 34I read this yesterday, but it didn't sink in until last night when I thought that tire size was strange. Went looking for tires in that size and I can't find any
Did you really mean 285/70-18, or did you mean 285/70-17?
Help a brother out, I'm losing sleep over this ...
Atwalz, great info. Thanks for posting. In the instructions for this method, was there any description of what could happen if you leave the rears open too long?
I just installed stainless lines last weekend and didn't follow this procedure. Don't think I had the lines open too long, just curious of what might have been affected.
planning on re-bleeding this weekend.....![]()
Haha like women have their problems... Men have theirsSo true. That's exactly what I told my wife when she came out to "inspect" my work. Her response: "It just doesn't look like a land cruiser anymore." I beg to differ...
I think it looks great!! I was going to do the entire piece but now I might start with what you did. I did the front this weekend and left the ring and emblem, wasn't sure if I'd like the the entire grill blacked out. What do ya'll think? Leave it or black it all out? I'm going to do the lower black valance with the same flat black next so it matches...I decided to take the plasti dip off and pulled the letters off first. Looks good but won't keep it as it is not clean if you look close.

275/70 R18, I've only had them for a couple hrs but so far they are awesome. I need to figure out tire pressure (I have 35, that's what Toyota put in there now, not sure what others are running) highway speeds they are real quiet and I don't notice them at all. They feel heavier but I really don't notice any acceleration difference, not as Cush as the Michelins but look 1000 times better. Can wait to get them on the sand and snow.Looks great, what size? What size and pressure are you running?I look forward to your updated reports as you get some miles on them, you will need to mess around with them. You will be surprised what 1psi of pressure can change. My Duratracs picked up a little hum. Found out the tire pressure dropped 2 psi, must be the cold air. Added 2 back and they are relatively quiet again.
