I don't have that box, either o_O

I've got the box too. It is obviously a heat sink, though I do not know what it does beyond that. Should be easy to relocate (making sure you keep it away from plastics and sensitive electronics).

Now you have me wondering what, exactly, it is in my rig that does NOT have a heat sink ...

Heatsink for the headlights? What model is your cruiser?

I think it may be. It's a 2011

My guess it is a heat sink for non-LED headlights. i.e. 2008-2011 models

Those look great! I know what I'm getting soon. ;)

As to paint, I have used this stuff on my FJ40 in the past, and it has a great sandy feeling texture and it is semi matte. Make sure to get the NON-rubberized stuff. I like it, because if you scrape it up, just hit it with the spray and its as good as new. Dries fast too.

It's definitely a heat sink for the headlights. 2008 has them.

Judging by how much empty space is around it I'm guessing it will be a huge pita to relocate if it gets that hot.

That is exactly what I use. I also prime it with a flat black

What did I do to my 200 this week? I bought it. 2008, Silver over Gray, 137k miles. I'm the 3rd owner and got a smoking deal which is why I didn't pass it over with that many miles. Overall good shape, but needs a good detail inside and some touch up on the driver rear door. Otherwise, it's typical Land Cruiser material in that it drives wonderfully and feels solid. Looking forward to putting a lot more miles on this one. It's a big jump from the various 100-series UZJs I've owned and it's a nice change in power, comfort, size, etc over the 2008 4Runner V8 I just parted with.

I do have a decision to make soon on it. My old 4Runner had 275/70/18 Duratracs with about 10k miles on them and looked new. The new 200 LC has 285/65/18 Toyo Open Country ATIIs with about 15k miles. The guy that bought my 4Runner would trade tires on an even swap to get some that are slightly less agressive. I'm trying to decide if the swap would be worth the $100 out of pocket for the mount/balance swap. Any experience with the Duratracs on the heavier 200 series platform that would sway me either way?

I'm sad to see that nobody has figured out a front leveling kit for these things yet. I haven't stuck my head under the front fenders yet, but it should be pretty straight forward to find a relatively simple and inexpensive solution. I helped Steve @ Sonoran Steel develop his 4Runner lift systems years ago, so I'm hoping to dive into this one soon and come up with an answer.

Pics of it in your possession or we don't believe you.

Congrats on the 200, I'm not sure if it's applicable on the Lexus but there's an oem shock spacer on the newer LCs that might level the front.
