Motivated me to do sliders. I am building a set for my 2007 Tundra and learning how to weld, cut, bend and drill holes thru steel.

Here are few pictures of my work in progress. Partially finished driver side. I have not decided on what style design to use for steps as I don't have a pipe bender. I may source that to machine shop or use the straight pipe and weld it to 2x3 rectangular tube.

After over 2 months of waiting, my Ironman Foam Cell Pros should be arriving today. According to MetalTech, I will be the first person to have them in the U.S.!

I will now begin the process of installing:

1. Foam Cell Pros with C- rated springs in the front and regular springs in the rear.
2. Ironman 15mm rear trim packer (both sides). This will created 15mm of additional rear lift.
3. SPC Control Arms
4. Slee Offroad KDSS arm relocation brackets (these things are surgically machined).
5. @aMiR904 's Diff Drop Kit
6. Timbren SES TORLC2 Bumpstops
7. TRD Rock Warrior Wheels (dark bronze)
8. 35x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers

I can't wait to see how it all turns out. I hope to be finished before Tuesday, so I can go first thing Monday morning and get my wheels/tires mounted and balanced. :bounce:

Wish me luck.

Glass breaking sensor install. If you do one remember to lock the hood before the test apparently there is a sensor as well.. i kept it open and sensor never worked. Set it at 10/10 so it goes of on light metal tap on any window.

No turning back now.

This is SLOOOOOW going; every single bolt was VERY hard to get lose (i.e. PB Blaster, dead blow hammer, torch, gear pullers, sledge hammer, etc.)

If I can find time, I may finish the install tomorrow.

Should be finished in a few days. ;)

Does MS not require front plates or do you still have temps? Can't wait to see final set up!

Its just a dealer tag.

Got a lot done today.

Took my struts and got the springs put on them.

I also spied my Nitto Trail Grapplers while I was there. Can't wait to get these monsters installed

I got my SPC UCAs installed (what a pain!!!). I had to disconnect the battery, and disconnect a lot of brackets in the engine bay.

I then got my Slee KDSS brackets put on, though I have not gotten everything aligned yet. These have proven to be very difficult for me to install. I have also had to remove all of the skid plates and plastic fascia off of the front underside.

Anyways, this is where I ended the day!

I think it will be.

I find it hard to believe a 2011 outside of the rust belt has seized bolts and stuff. Hell I didnt have much trouble with my (western) canadian 1989 Nissan.

It's really not that rusty, just a little surface rust. It is from Colorado though.

Hey Usnick1982,

I had mine installed at the dealer when I purchased new (2014) few months ago, and today I was actually installing Society DVD box and I figured I check out the wiring/box for the glass breakage sensor. Everything looked ok, looks like it was installed per the instructions. Anyhow, what I'm finding is that the sensitivity is not that that good. I even turn it up max (which is at the 11th) and I can get it to go off, but it does take a strong hit. I was concern with hitting too hard and actually busting my glass :(. I even played with moving the sensor around.

I was using the tip of allen wrench,.. maybe my sensor is a little defective? What were you hitting your glass with?
