Wrapped the fake wood. 
Where did you get the kit from? Or did you make it custom yourself! Looks good
Thanks! Its just a role of Vvivid vinyl off amazon. Described as dark gunmetal but looks lighter next to the black.

Indeed, It did occur to me I was wrapping faux wood with faux cf. But you can't argue with hp...Carbon fiber, even fake, makes it faster
Ha ha, the steering wheel, while actually still in pretty good shape for a 16, will be getting replaced with the all leather wheel during the next online parts sale. I'm sure someone with more skill could wrap it, but being my first go with vinyl, I saved myself the trouble.

Yesterday I changed the oil and filter on my 2018 LX.
And this morning I took a trip to meet up with Kyle of TruTaco Tuning to get an OTT tune done. He's based in WV, but was in SE Ohio today. Highly recommended.
He cautioned that the ECU learning mode might lead to some odd behavior on the first tank of gas or so, but it's been a significant improvement already. We started with a "mild, medium" combination, but after testing I had him bump it up to "medium, spicy."
The responsiveness is much increased, but somehow it feels exactly like it should be. One of the big surprises is that the idle is much smoother. The gear hunting is pretty much gone. It seems to hold gears better in cruise control as well. The "new normal" mode is great, and the improvements translate to the various other drive modes. The increased power in the lower RPM bands provides a more confident driving experience all around. These trucks aren't race cars, but it's delivering what is called for much better.
The average MPG was ticking up on my return trip -- perhaps it was 2-3 MPG better under similar conditions. Hard to say exactly as it could be partly a function of elevation, but it certainly wasn't worse for the same kind of driving.
Already I'm thinking this might be the best mod yet.

High beams
Yes - High beams, or in my case, the light bar. If you've ever owned an older truck or car, this was your high beam toggle. Second only to the clutch as the best use of the left foot while traveling. It's mostly nostalgia for me, but it's satisfying to have that familiar "click" back in my life.

In the early 70’s I bought a 1950 Chevy 3100 panel truck for $75, from a NJ egg farmer. It was older than me, had provision for hand crank starting, pull out knobs for the choke and throttle (poor man’s cruise control), and the floor starter button. Blinkers were after-market. It still runs, and will likely outlive me.
Took the front end apart on Sonja in preparation for some rock chip and other paint repairs.
Once that was dropped off, I did a $40 version of the GCC grille with satin and gloss black paints and a new sombrero. It didn't turn out absolutely perfect, but it's worlds better than the faded gray. Also it wasn't $150 worth of shipping.
To finalize a front end refresh, I restored the headlights.
Should get the truck back and buttoned up next week.

Great idea! I’d much rather run this then hunt for the Rigid controls. There’s been times I want it bright AF but I may see another car.
I’ve had a few cars with these… it may be time for a old school up grade haha
