I use an air lift system for coolant fills. Works great! It draws a vacuum on the system, so pulls all the air out, then sucks all the coolant in. No possibilities of air pockets. I bought the tool for my 911, which has a rear engine and 3 radiators in the front of the car. That gets air pockets really easily and this tool made the job a total non issue

In general, don’t “flush” the system. Just drain it and fill. You’ll never get all the straight water out, especially given the plumbing route of the rear heater core.. and it will dilute your new coolant.

I found purging the rear heater of air especially difficult. My solution was to go drive around with the transmission in S3 to keep the RPMs up and as a result the pressure pushing the air out of the high spots. It took a few minutes of this then topping up for everything to work as intended.

There are vacuum style coolant fill tools where they pull vacuum through the whole coolant system and it fills in one go. These don't rely on high points or gravity so they're great for super convoluted coolant circuits. I have one I've used with my German car, but since I've not used it with the 200-series, can't vouch specifically for it.

Received my front recovery points from @turbo8 and threw those on. Threw the basket and hitch carrier on, pulled one side of the third row, loaded the fam and turned 375 miles today to Smugglers Notch VT. Pics of Vermont to come, just got done unloading.

Yes - easily for all but the tiny and frail. Mine are 0 degree and are easier to use for steps. They have some that angle up making the “step” higher and narrower.

Added the Dr. KDSS Panhard Correction Kit today.

Easy install that took about an hour and the ass end is much more planted on bumpy stuff, well worth it.

Long time scavenger here on the forums, first time posting my vehicle. I have a 2009 LX570 with 109k, I’ve owned it for about 4 months now. This week all that I’ve tackled is connecting the backlight wiring on my Diode Dynamics fog lights. In the past few months since purchasing I’ve completed the sensor lift, led low beam headlights, wrapped the stock rims in Nitto Grappler 285/50R20’s, installed an on-board Ironman compressor with front and rear air connections, LFD roof bars, water port 8gal, Yakima Skinny Warrior rack, built my own rear box with sliding kitchen and storage. Mostly all cosmetic with quite a few future upgrades to come, starting with Slee steps and ARB Skid Protection.
