Hmm, sorry Kurt, maybe I got my signals crossed. I did a lot of calling around, but I didn't keep my notes. Might have been a different shop? I do remember the freight cost and finding the time to pull the 3rds was a bit of a challenge.

Curious where you mount the dial switch in a LX though! 😎

Finally after a couple years of ownership, I unbolted the front seats and pulled them back, changed out the filters under them and cleaned the carpeting. Coffee made the pass. side brown and that cleaned up pretty good but check out the blood.....
I'll bet there is a story there.

I think every beige 200 has this stain. Mine has it, the pullout carpet that the eBay breaker sells has it.

Added a few miles on a camping road trip to Trader Joe's in Spokane

As part of an ATF exchange I learned ATF-WS turns purple with UV exposure.. tripped me out until I did some reading online that it is a well-known quirk to this fluid.

Reminds me of Royal Purple products. Wonder if that's somehow a part of their formulation.

Yeah it’s odd.

I didn’t get a before picture but it was typical dark red 30k mile fluid. After about an hour I noticed a slight purple color.. the above picture was closer to 3-4 hours.

Also curious.. it was just the top. If I stirred it up the lower/deeper parts were still red.

Painted my new-to-me rock warriors. VHT graphite wheel paint. The color looks really great in person--lots of metallic flake. Good from far, far from good, but they will get used and probably never cleaned again, so good 'nuf! The rims were super corroded and nasty behind the rock rings. Didn't use filler, but definitely should have if I cared  Rock rings are not going back on. Just seems like a great way to trap grime, road salt and brake dust. Tires are getting trashed, hence no masking :hillbilly:

Cleaned up my Carpuride mounting. I was planning on waiting to do this until I got a new phone but I discovered I'd forgotten to reconnect my ambient light sensor on the install. I drilled out the hole on the left side of the speaker plate to run a cable straight down to a hole on the Gamiviti mounting plate that was positioned under the Yak Attack rail so there weren't any extra visible holes. Small side note: Chatsworth rack screws work great for screwing the rail into the mounting plate if you have a handful laying around. I've already ordered a 90* USB adapter to finish the job.

Ordered some 35x12.5x17 Mickey Thompsons to go on the minivan next week. :hillbilly:

Why no caster measurement?
