Very cool. I just ordered the bundle kit from them this weekend. Nice to see it in place. How about wind noise on this? I have heard on some other models it can be substantial.

Edit: found additional posts on the subject and got all of my questions answered. Thanks for providing that additional information.

The Kaon dudes have figured out a great way to remove the plug with the below tool and they also sell a new drain plug that does not use an Allen key will save you the headache of dealing with that stripped plug. Just go to Kaon’s website and pick LC 200 in the vehicle type. They know the 200 very well​

Not certain on the 2020. Still have some miles to run before it’s due! I had heard about the diff plug being a PITA and noticed the tool when I was ordering their rear shock guards and tow hooks.

is the stihl chain saw bar strong enough to hold the body of the saw over bumpy roads? if that saw bar bends, the chain will not stay in the groove

So far so good. I will say this is the biggest saw I would but in here. But I actually only use it with my 12in dewalt battery saw. That’s no problem. Only put my medium size in there for pictures but so far no bending.

IMO, I think LRD has a great idea for those who don’t want to invest in a full rack right off the bat. You can build this as you go. I just don’t think they have the right marketing. They are about to launch a new website so maybe that will change.

Went to Lexus to pick up a cup of $125 double espresso and a side of SLLC and the recommended non-Allen front diff drain plug. Was happily surprised Lexus doesn’t mark up the coolant! Got four gallons but only needed 3.

Uneventful drain and refill of the front diff after a weekend of struggling to get plug out.

Then drained the radiator, PS block drain, and then the DS block drain. Got maybe 3/4-1gallon out of the PS drain, and barely any out of the DS drain. Maybe cause I did that last? Put in just shy of 3 gallons total. This bloc drains are quite a challenge to get to due to angles, distance, and nerve racking soft brass…

From left to right, fron diff orig fill plug w new crush washer, black sludge from drain magnet, orig drain plug with bolt and nut mod, new non-200/LX drain plug with external head and new copper washer.

Rig is at 203k-ish. Baselining coming along, oil/filter, bjowette filter/ezdrain, rear/front/center diff, greased shafts/spiders, cabin/air filters, pcv valve, new battery, cleaned maf sensor and throttle a bit, ATF mechanical drain and refill (10.5qts of WS), wipers, new TPMS denso sensors, new spare tire mount, led conversion for all front exterior, dechromed, LC wheels and wildpeaks, and now full coolant drain/refill.

Whats left?
- steering fluid
- Brake fluid
-ahc fluid
- alignment
-rotate tires

PS being the parts guy at a Lexus dealership seems to be pretty dull, not much action. Had a great chat though, very knowledgeable and undeservedly made me feel like royalty!

yes, if you put in a battery powered saw, and kept the battery in the suv, then there is not much mass to move around and bend the saw bar

Like the rig! I have to say 2.5ish lift with icons and a 285-70-17 tire size is about the perfect set up without having to do anything with the fenders/trimming etc.

I have the same pump and mount and I wanted to do the same thing. Can I get some additional pictures? Also did you hard wire it?

Yes, it's hardwired. I can leave the cover in place now for hooking up and hitting the switch after making a few cuts to the plastic cover. I tried to cut as little as possible.

Have you used this yet? That quick disconnect is going to be very hot after airing up 4 tires. Just make sure you are wearing gloves.
