Is there a link to this kit?

Finally got around to mounting my Ironman 8ft awning on my Prinsu with the Ironman quick release brackets. Works great! Awning sits a tiny bit high & out however it allows for full use of the Prinsu grab handles as well as the rock lights. It would be possible to flip the stock Ironman L brackets upside down then drill & custom mount the quick release brackets/awning lower however you will lose function of the grab handles & lights. I don't plan on running my awning all the time so no biggie for me. I used some 1/4 20 carriage bolts to attach the Ironman L brackets to the Prinsu then attached the Ironman quick release brackets to those.

How was the install for this kit. I’ve got slight rubbing on the driver’s side, need to do this as well.

Curious as well. Do you need another alignment or to do anything with the kdss?

Surprisingly easy! I was really dreading it, but it was easy. 15/20 min? Open kdss valves, remove existing sway bar mounts, install the new TT ones and used a pry bar at the sway bar link to push it forward. On the second side I used a jack against kdss arm to push up, then pry into place.

That’s encouraging, and now I have no excuse to put it off any longer 🤣 Thanks for the reply!

If I am going to get a 2nd car to daily drive, TRD Pro 4 Runner or Tacoma? And why? Keeping my 200, but want something to reduce the miles on her from my commute.

Get something that gets decent gas mileage if it's a commuter only.

Man i picked up a 2001 Ford Ranger. I've learned my lesson on owning 2 cars i want to modify, it gets expensive.

I don't know what MPG the Tacoma gets, but my 200 (in just the 2200 miles I have on it) is averaging 15.6 vs the 17.1 that I averaged over 5 years in my 2016 4Runner Trail Premium. I can only think the TRD Pro would get worse with the higher profile and more off road tires.

Tacoma would be more versatile as a truck alternative to the 200, where the T4R would just be more of the same.

Thank you, this is where I am leaning.

Happy to be of some assistance! BTW, I grew up just a bit north of you, on my grandfather's farm on the SE side of Bellefontaine. My wife grew up in West Liberty. Since Bellefontaine was stuck in the '60s, Springfield was the destination for dining and shopping. The last time I was down that way, the Upper Valley Mall was still fairly new.
