Looks good with them on and it's more functional. Just don't drive in the big rocks with them.

What did you use for chrome delete? How is it holding up?
20% driver/passenger, 10% rear, 5% windshield strip. Definitely keeps it cooler.
Ended up taking it to tint world in Grapevine. The 3M vinyl I tried before I couldn't get to stay on...... whatever brand they use seems to be holding up. Though if it starts coming off Ill remove the chrome and have painted.

This is a my next must have option! Did you compare it to Naviplus? What made you buy this one over the other? Can you control the volume control and calling from the steering wheel? I think that was one of the issues with Naviplus, but not sure on that. How’s the clarity with handsfree mic?

Left Sat, picked up a UHaul trailer, drove from Vegas to Boise, then to Seattle on Sun, loaded the trailer and then headed to Portland Sun night. Back to Boise on Monday. SO had an interview on Tuesday morning and then drove back to Vegas Tuesday night. 2400 miles in 4 days.
Smelled something weird when we hit the hotel on Sunday night but couldn't tell where it was coming from.
Monday when we left my friends house to head to the hotel he noticed we had no running lights on the trailer.
Got up early Tuesday to see what was happening. Found the towing taillight fuse blown and noticed the left side backup light was blackened. Pulled the tail gate apart and found this mess. Not sure if this was the cause of the blown fuse but will be annoying to have to fix. Glad it didn't catch fire. First pic is what it should look like.

I've been planning to buy the EC unit since the first reviews popped up on this forum, but waited for EC to fix the bugs that the early adopters ran into. I had looked at the Navi, too, but got the feeling that it had more problems and worse support. And the EC unit also can act standalone with apps installed directly on it, which I also wanted.
My phone is Android, so if you're using Apple you might have a different experience.
I did not install the microphone that was included with the EC unit. My phone still auto-connects to the Toyota Bluetooth, and calls / microphone still work through (through the Toyota mic, I guess). The EC mic would be needed if you don't keep your phone connected to the Toyota Bluetooth.
When NOT using Android Auto, but still in the EC unit's screens, all the steering wheel call buttons work as intended, but a call will switch the screen back to the Toyota screen. Alternatively, when using Android Auto, the "pick-up call" steering wheel button doesn't work, but a pick-up button appears on the screen that works. The "hang-up", volume, skip buttons all work in any mode.
I don't know if voice commands will work without the EC mic, I never really use voice commands for anything.
Music audio quality is good. Phone audio quality is just okay, I don't think it's any better or worse than normal.
There is about a 1-second delay when someone talks and when the person on the other end of the call hears it. I don't know if that's a problem with the EC unit, the Toyota system, or Verizon. In the EC unit's System Settings screen, you can choose mic source from "int", "ext", "oem". Switching between these doesn't seem to change anything, except that "ext" has slightly less lag.
Overall the system is working better than I expected, except for the slightly clunky nature of phone calls that I mentioned above.
Thanks for the details. Based on your experience with it, still sounds like a great option and really appreciate the feedback.
I forgot to mention that once per year, EC Offroad sends their email subscribers a coupon code for 20% off any head unit. That basically put the EC unit at almost the same price as the Navi, so it made it that much easier to pull the trigger.

I've got one as well in my Cruiser. I really enjoy it. I took a bunch of short videos during install, need to splice then together and post on YouTube

I finally got around to making some brackets so I could mount the ARB Solis lights on my TJM bumper. I needed to make some brackets because the Solis lights were too deep for the TJM bumper. I had the choice of making brackets or cutting some of the front grill out. I will try these brackets first. I still need to run the wiring harness and then adjust them. Forgive me for how dirty the bumper and truck is. I still need to wash it after LCDC.
Where did you source your slides?
Nothing like when things go according to plan. Put the OEM spacers on top of my Foxn 2.0s to get her back leveled. Took 3hrs with a little help from a friend. Doesn't get much more level than this.
