Love mine...except the weight.
Actually more impressed with them since sizing down from 35’s, too.

Wish they weighed as little as KI2s...but they handle really well, and sidewalls handle serious beatings for sure. Just have to look at my scarred up RW wheels to see what my sidewalls endure with regularity.

Yeah, they’re 2.4 pounds heavier per corner than the Toyo’s, but I’m sure I’ll get used to that more easily than the initial jump to the 285/75-17’s

Yeah, they’re 2.4 pounds heavier per corner than the Toyo’s, but I’m sure I’ll get used to that more easily than the initial jump to the 285/75-17’s

Nittos and Toyos (two branches of same company, btw) are both heavy compared to KO2s... Not knocking em. I like my Nittos. Just interesting how much lighter KO2s are size for size...

OCD PS. It’s not crooked... The taper of the armrest shelf and the size of the hole requires a slight angle...just like the ash tray’s alignment.

Is there something in the air??? Been working on multiple power outlets myself...

Nitros and Toyos are both heavy compared to KO2s... Not knocking em. I like my Nittos. Just interesting how much lighter KO2s are size for size...

I was “this close” to pulling the the trigger on the BFG’s a few weeks ago when Costco had them for about $1,000 even for four, but the likes the Nittos better. Need I say more? Actually I like the slightly more aggressive profile better too

Finally got my BudBuilt skid plates mounted. I can’t imagine trying to do this on the floor and without a transmission jack.

Wasn't really isn't bad using a set of 12" ramps and a good floor jack. The gas tank piece got kinda western though maybe because I'm in my mid 70's.

Connecting the fuel tank skid, transfer case skid and the heat shield was a proper challenge.

So a couple of weekends ago I took on finally giving my LC a good compounding, polish, and sealant to remove the annoying swirl marks. Well... I was switching between multiple buffers, with one being an older one that I had added Velcro to fasten pads. Problem was that the disk on the buffer was same diameter as the polishing pad, which means when I got in a hurry on the rear pillar curve, the metal plate hit the paint

So this past week I finally received the Langka touch-up kit and set about trying to repair best I could using the OEM touch up paint. These show the progression through the steps. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with how it came out, though it could be better. The nice thing with the Langka system is I can still work to get it more even, so it’s hard to really mess it up.

The last two are after using the kit, then wet sanding with 1000 & 3000, then compound, polish, and sealant.

Installed new OEM rotors and TRD Pads up front from Camelback Toyota and rotated the tires. I put on Centric fleet pads and Bosch rotors 15k miles ago and they “warped” a few k ago. This time I followed the bed-in procedure to a T and carefully torqued everything to spec. Expecting better results this time.

I’m with you, I also put Toyota disks but stock pads in mine. I did cryogenically freeze them prior though.

...Spent three hours removing pine sap from the entire front of half of the rig.
