I realize that what I have done is very simple and very basic compared to all the wrench-monkeys on this forum. I'm pacing myself. ;) But, hey, at least its not stock anymore!

This is for a 2016 which we've owned about 6 months.

Slee sliders (installed by Slee). ARB drawer system (left side only) purchased from Slee, installed by me.

KO2 285/65 R18 tires - on the stock 18" wheels. Having what may be tire/wheel issues (more vibration than I remember) and wondering if I find that the alignment is OK whether I should do different wheels and what those wheels would be that would not lead to rubbing or other issues. (I am checking the wheel/tire database - great resource.)

Planned: Gobi rack in about 3 weeks. Wired for lighting but still TBD on what lights I'll install.
Gotta have some pics!

Washed my LX. Washed my LC 200. Used my FJ to haul the boat.

Ultragauge install.

Got the gauge for the transmission temp set correctly (I think), but I have a feeling I'll be spending some time testing and customizing it. Via the tiny buttons on the back - what a terrible UI. But hey, still cool.

First time taking the dash apart. I was amazed at how easy it was compared to my old Discovery II (I'm not bleeding at all - not even a little bit). I replaced the ash tray (or was it the coin tray?) on the disco with a scan gauge, so I have been thinking about it for a while.

x2 I'd be curious to know which model you have.

Yup, ODB2 port. I fished the plug through near where the white footwell ventilation ducts are. The rest of the cable is hidden behind that center stack and/or tucks under that bottom most panel above the pedals.

The "UltraGauge MX 1.3" has an option to come pre-programmed for Toyotas (select Toyota Tacoma/Tundra CAN) - but I still had to tweak the transmission temp gauge to get it to work. And I'm still just assuming it works, I have only been able to drive it for five minutes since I installed it. So don't quote me on any of this yet, I plan to play with it more this weekend.

Scan Gauge was cool because you could tweak the backlight color. UG has a higher resolution screen to display more data and can auto-adjust the brightness. (and the Scan Gauge II was the exact same width as the Disco II ashtray, which was awesome for when it inevitably broke along with ever other part on that truck.)

Replaced rear differential oil, front differential oil, and transfer case oil.
After 35,000 miles and over 4 years, the factory gear oil from the front and rear differentials is filthy. The magnetic drain plugs are very effective at capturing fine metal particles as seen here in MScruiser's thread:
My Videos: Changing the oil in the front/rear diffs and transfer case
(this should be a stickied thread btw)
Replaced engine oil and filter.
Replaced the coolant.

Love the Build so far! If you wouldn't mind me asking, how did you get the Aussie Bull bar? Only Bull bar i could find stateside is from Black Horse. Thanks!

It was bought in Australia and shipped to US. It is not cheap. Wardharris is looking at interest for them at my other thread 2016-17 LC200 Aussie Nudge Bar Looks like he has frequent shipments from Australia and is able to get shipping cost down. For sure post your interest there.
